gugang lake scenic area

There isn't much to see at this lake at all and it can be easily skipped. At the same time, it's on the way to Zhaishan Tunnel from Shuitou, so it's not inconvenient to stop here for just a few minutes to take a short break. The area around the lake has some good traditional Fujian homes and a colorful empty temple, plus there are some trails nearby to some stone inscriptions. This lake also has the distinction of being the only natural lake on Jinmen Island, though that does *not* make it more beautiful or important than the man-made ones.
