Well worth a visit, every time we have visited goa, we have always gone to this market, even just for the music. There are different food stalls, but we usually have a pork n apple n stuffing sarnie with roast potatoes, a cold drink from the bar n watch the entertainment. But the beautiful coloured stalls n smell of spices make it an experience not to be missed.Best time to go i think is about 6.30 pm
If you are in Goa on a Saturday, This is the place to be after sunset. If you are planning a Trip to Goa do try to include a Saturday Night in your plan. This is place where you will find flavours of Goa both for clothing and food. Some of the Goa Handicrafts Stalls are also in this market. The best would be to visit this market and then make way for Club Cubana, which is just a Km away from this place.
Let me skip everything but talk about the trance place upstairs. I keep dreaming of that place all the time. Nothing like going in trance dancing on those beats. I am totally in love with this place. If you just want to be in your world, sway on those beats in an open air place under one bare tree..aha..what do u want in life after this!
this place has everything from music, dancing, food court, booze, shopping .. wat else is required. Entry is free. best place to hangout with low on budget.
If you are in Goa on a weekend. This is the place to be at night. Its awesome, one can shop here and have good cheap(reasonably priced) food and enjoy live Music.
Worth one visit at least. Lots of things to buy, easy to negotiate, but do negotiate as much as you can. Food around the area was great. Especially the Roast Chicken. Melt in your mouth good. Music playing, lots of people, a very fun way to spend a saturday night.
A different experience of shopping and especially night shopping. The best part was that this place was bang opposite to where I was staying (Double Tree by Hilton), so no worries on parking. There are huge varieties of items which can be looked and purcsed.
Absolute Cracker of a place. The Bad -NoneThe Good-The wow feel the moment you enter inside.A different feel & a different world. For Food, Music, Performances, Drinks, shoppingRustic You feel in a different worldMust go else trip is incomplete in Goa.#1 place to go in Goa
A nice place to hangout on Saturday. Good live music. So many places to eat and drink. Good shopping experience. Bargain as much as you can. Also good for window shopping
As name suggest it's Saturday Night Market, so make sure you go to visit on Saturday only. Very happening place, with lots of music, food and entertainment. And for shopping lovers, it's a heaven. You will find all stuff over there.
So energetic, people from all over the world, music, food, great stuff to buy - although you must get the prices down. Must not miss. Great atmosphere. If it is your first time your taxi driver will drive you there and wait so no worries just go and enjoy. Try and go early as it gets really crowded by 8pm.
if you are looking for a fun environment to buy your trinkets and gifts this is definitely the place to visit. From what I believe it's a lot smaller than the Anjuna market and it has a great vibe. There's live music all through the evening and because it's at night there's a 'magical' feeling about the place. The street food stalls all offer great food at great value and the drinks are as cheap as the rest of Goa...look out for the 5 minute specials where you have 5 minutes to buy shots at 50Rs/50p. There's a Go-Kart track right next door that the kids loved.... Fast karts for only 250Rs/£2.50 for 10 laps. Well worth a visit on a Saturday night (so good we went twice).
Very lively place to visit. Live bands are just awesome. I loved Kundalini Airport band a lot. Please this is a request to all visitors of Goa, Do visit this place, you will just love this place. But for those who don't like to walk or stand, you may get bored. For ladies, this place is heaven.
Arpora night market is on the main road, you will even find the sign boards also easily. But there is also another night market held on Saturday in Arpora, so don't get confused by it. The place is just awesome, atmosphere inside is so unindian I would say. Conglomeration of art, food, culture and full of colors. The stalls inside the market are majorly set up by foreign nationals, which offers some mesmerizing and new stuff. I didn't tried food over there though stalls at every 100 m and at every level provide you with lot of drinks and music. If you visit Goa don't miss it.
Maybe because we drove from South Goa, a distance of nearly 45 Km, we did not like it so much. Another version of Janpath market of Delhi with night timing thrown & obviously music & dance as per local culture. Nothing unique to buy. Enjoy the hot snacks/meals served by mostly Russians.
