What an adventure. These caves really are spectacular but still under-developed as a tourist attraction. Enjoy the raw beauty. Wear good shoes as it can be slippery.

The cave system is nice. A lot of differenet bats: (1) Fruit bats and (2) Insect Bats. The price is also is not very expensive (<PHP200).Transportation going here is by Tricycle from Surigao City.

Pack a flashlight (optional), good shoes, swimming clothes, blastic bags to keep your valuables dry in case you slip in the water cave, a clean towel to wipe the dirt off your camera, change of shoes or slippers for the wet cave.To get there from Surigau City, hire a motorcycle with driver. The road is rough but not very far.Several caves in the vicinity. Be sure to ask to see the water filled cave. Makes for a great refreshing swim at the end of your day. Well organized guides with gear (helmet, gloves, flash light) for you to use. 55P per person plus 200 for the guide (one per group).Combine this trip with the nearby Day asan floating village. Paid 300P to the motorcycle driver to go to both places and back to Surigau City.
