world famous rockcliffe tavern

Drove north for a family get together and passed through Minden and saw the old Rockcliffe Hotel, brings back memories of teenage years driving to hear bands, drink etc. We decided to get some food and check it out. They may have spent a couple of hundred dollars fixing it up over the last 30 years or so, but it is still the same old rockcliffe. In the summer they do have bands and such to play on the weekends but in the winter time they cater to the local snowmobilers. The lunch was real good, I had a clubhouse with fries for under 10 bucks. They still sell rockcliffe shirts, mine disintegrated years ago, so if you need a new one ....
