We took our children there 30 years ago and returned recently with grandchildren. They did enjoy themselves but I must say the park could use a little updating and TLC. It seemed a little overpriced but the kids had fun so that's really all that matters.

I went to Santa's village with my two kids 10 and 16 yr old, they had a lot of fun, a lot of things are upgraded and New there is adventure area for older kids, tree trekking, roller blading, go karts, Keeps you busy all day, fun for everyone! Always enjoyed going back every year ☺☺

I am sure everyone in Ontario has heard or even been to Santa's Village. It is a great place for small kids, good wholesome fun. We took our own kids nearly thirty years ago and last year we were lucky enough to take our grand daughter, she loved it and so did we, seeing her so happy.

Visited with my nieces this summer, ages 7 and 9, and was very disappointed. Way over priced for what it is. The admission prices and food costs etc are the same as a far more advanced park, like wonderland, with nowhere near the experience. Most employees are children themselves and don't seem to know what they're doing, though they are friendly. I've been many times before and it seems it's more of a rip off each time I go, will not return.

Hi Blondie2099. I thought I would try to address the comments you have made regarding your experience at Santa s Village. We are entering our 60th year, so some of our facilities may seem dated, but we like to think of it as old fashioned and charming. We do maintain our rides and they are inspected by the TSSA, the regulatory branch of the Province of Ontario annually. Yes we could use a little paint here and there which we try to do each year, and we do try to add something new each season. Most recently we have added the waterpark. You might be interested to note that our new for 2015 is an aerial adventure park on Elves Island. Children as young as 3 can venture onto the course and go through aerial obstacles in an exciting and safe environment. It will be included in the price of admission. We do hire many young, local students each summer. They have to be 14 year old to work, and I have to say we are very proud of them. It is often their first job, so, as I am sure we can all relate from our own first job experiences, it can be a little overwhelming. We have regular training sessions and try to continually coach them, but from time to time they may not deliver on expectations. I understand that and we do use these occasions as examples when coaching them. To say all of them were 13 and could not make a decision if their life depended on it, is a gross over statement. I stand behind them knowing we have selected the best of our local talent. They are not perfect, but they certainly have demonstrated to me that they are far more capable than you have given them credit for. That is not just my opinion, but one shared by many guests whom have taken the time to complete an exit survey and have shared their positive experiences with our staff. We will continue to afford our local students an opportunity to gain job experiences, and I will share with them, during our training sessions, your comments so they will be very aware of how important it is to always be in their ready positions. Sorry Santa s Village did not live up to your expectations and we do take these comments to heart in order that we can always be improving.

Always wanted to go since I love Christmas, the tree trekking was bought because of zipling but it turned out to be more challenging than we thought. We were so proud of ourselves after. We enjoyed our stay in the village itself. Nice place especially for small kids.

This Frank and Norm Miller country and former owners.I can never ubderstand how the average family can afford it.It is designed for children from age 3 and up.They will still charge you full tilt even if your child is an infant in a stroller..For this reason I will nor recommend it.

You can bring your older children to drive the go karts or hit in the batting cages at Sportsland and the little ones love the Rudolph Coaster and Elf Island. My daughter can never get enough of the petting zoo or feeding Santa's Reindeer. We bring extra food such as grass clippings from the parking lot, hay or crackers from home to feed them and she would do that all day!Sign up on Santa's nice list and you can get great coupons!

We visited Santa's Village the Friday of the Labor Day weekend - 6 adults and 3 children. I have to say this visit far exceeded our expectations and the flaw from last year has been resolved.Santa(s) were very interactive and were everywhere. First thing in the morning Mr & Mrs Claus took a golf cart through the campgrounds greeting everyone and passing on an invite to pancake breakfast. Santa was always available in his 'house' for a picture or for the children to sit on his knee and let him know what they wanted for Christmas.Santa was also walking through the park going on rides with families as well as the boat ride (he actually sat on the reindeers back)We are looking forward to a return next year.Deb

Myself and 2 other friends were actually visiting the Tree Top adventure next door, we had arrived early so with nothing else within walking distance, we decided to fill in time and visit Santa's village. As 3 grown adults, we actually had a lot of fun. We don't mind acting like big kids so we bought the cheesey hats, posed for pictures, fed the reindeer and went on a couple of the rides. The place is catered for kids, no doubt about it but it filled the time up nicely. I've done it once, I probably wont do it again unless I have kids and happen to be in the area - I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it.

We visited the park with family and the little ones loved it. The kids were all 2 and 3 years of age and the activities, rides and playground were very well suited. If kids were older, I think they may only be interested in some of the rides. The buildings and structures do show their age however, the grounds are well maintained and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint was when we visited the little shop to get the elf hats personalized. The woman didn't know how to operate her cash .. all day. When I paid she had trouble and then when I came back to pick up the hats a couple hours later, there was a lineup and she still couldn't figure out the machine.

Took the grandchildren visiting from out west. They loved it. Spent all day there. It brings back fond memories of when I was younger. A little pricey, but if you want to have fun, what isn't? You can get offers sent to you via e-mail like buy one get one free. Saw alot of smiling faces that day.
