Don't be fooled by the short yardage. At about 4600 yards you might think you are in for a stroll in the park. Wrong! Water, undulating greens, sand combine to provide a serious challenge to all but really good golfers. It's a pretty course, well-groomed (but a lot of goose poop) and you won't likely play 18 holes with the same ball. Take a few extra and have a good time. (At $57 including cart it's an OK value, and kids under 17 can play free with a paying adult which is a great policy).

I usually travel to deerhurst resort during the labour day weekend as the resort has great facilities and has something for everyone in the family. I was particularly impressed with the front desk especially Navneet who helped us to get the right accommodation. This particularly helpful as customer service of skyline vacation club booked a condo accommodation which turned out to be hotel room. I was very disappointed and requested the change in accommodation. Navneet helped to change the accommodation and provided the required attention and help at the last minute. Thank you so much.

Everyone at the club was super nice and helpful. The two ice cold bottles of water included with the golf cart was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. We were early, intending to hit a few balls on the practice range but they offered to let us go on our own rather than wait for the other pair, so we did and I loved that, too (I am not a good golfer - yet!). The only thing was that we never saw the drink cart and my husband was really in the mood for a beer. The course is lovely and the greens are generally fast, except for #9, which kind of threw us.

Nice little course that is worth the go. There was 8 of us playing and we all enjoyed the course. We have played before and both times it was raining. Would love to return when it is sunny and warm

Some lovely views and hills/valleys. Cart girl could have come around more often (saw her only once).

This is an outstanding track with much variety and challenges Nice practice range and many unforgettable holes. Take a deep breath of fresh air before you take your shot on #10Once again fabulous track.

Challenging but great course. Bring lots of balls! Try lakeside, the other course if you are a beginner golfer. It is flatter, wider, and a lot easier.

The guys really enjoyed the course and were very please with surroundings. What I loved was the meal as we went to the restaurant for dinner. Food was amazing and our server was lovely!!! Much better than Deerhurst Eclipse.

Loved this course. A good game is more about course management that trying to kill the ball. It's humbling for sure. If you love a challenge, you will love this course

Marvellously maintained with some of the best scenery anywhere in the world. Very helpful and informal friendly staff. They've got it right!

I very much liked the design, flow and landscape. This course takes advantage of the natural features and terrain to create one of the best golf course layouts I have experienced. Nice to have tee box options and all tees, fairways and greens were in good condition. Definitely a must to play again.

This is a great course, easily suitable for the Canadian Open or other major tournamnents. A real challenge to all golfers.

The Highlands course wasn't anything special to me. Considering we had played Grandview the day before and there really isn't any comparison between the two. Grandview was beautiful whereas Highlands was not special to look at or play. Sorry for the average rating.

Highlands Golf course has great vistas, and challenging holes. Everytime you play it there are different challenges. The condition is always excellent, and the staff are welcoming. It is one of my all time favorites, and I have had the opportunity to play exclusive courses around the world.

Love this course. It's scenic, well maintained with both challenging holes and holes for the novice. There is a variety of holes carved out of the granite stone of the Muskokas.
