worth a visit to Nova Scotia's Peggy's cove. A nice landmark on a trip around the area.travelled with family and had a nice wander across the rocks.

it was a windy cloudy day....but what an enchanting little village...loved it!!there was a bagpipe player,,,and also an accordion player singing songs from the area...Wonderful, just walking along the rock formations...It was just the greatest . A must see!Might be a little difficult if someone has issues with walking,..but plenty of other areas to walk on and see..you can still the lighthouse without having to walk close to it!

Returned here after almost 20 years. Still a wonderful spot to visit with an amazing view. Peaceful despite the number of people there.

My husband and I traveled from CT to Halifax in August 2013 , and we went to Peggy's Cove as part of our site-seeing spree. Really, it is worth the trip out (it's a little off the beaten path, like so many things in Nova Scotia). As one might suspect, because it is on the water, it is windy, and therefore chilly, even when it is 80 degrees out, so pack something to throw on. The rocks can be slippery if you climb all over them, as we did, so be careful. What I thought was particularly neat was that there was a bagpiper there doing his thing, which sort of added to the ambiance there (it being New Scotland, and all!). Definitely worth the trip.

Beautiful!!! We were there in the off season when few people were there. Can't stress how amazing it is. A can't miss on a trip to Nova Scotia

Stopped by Peggy's cove on business to Halifax. Glad I did. Never got to the restaurant as it was very busy, it is a tourist spot after all.

Peggy's Cove is the place I remember the most of all places I visited during my trip to the Maritimes in 2011. It is also a place I would absolutely visit again if I go to Nova Scotia once more. The view is breathtaking. You could stay there for hours, just looking at the water. The lighthouse is beautiful. Not to be missed.

I had been told that all it was was a bunch of rocks. Well, while that may be partially true, there is much more to it than that.Start with the quaint fishing village and all the neat shops. When you do get to the lighthouse, the rocks are what makes the place so spectacular. Many photo ops.Not to be missed.

We booked a shore excursion here while on a cruise up the St. Lawrence. It is a most scenic place with the waves breaking over the rocks. Be careful on the granite rocks though, especially when it is misting rain. There is a sign there that people get injured or killed there every day. You can believe it. The day we were there it was misting rain and my wife slipped on the rocks and had a severe break of the tibia bone in her ankle. We went back to the ship, told to leave and ended up in the hospital for casting.

A must see! Worth the walk to the peak (parking is limited and you may need to walk a bit to get to the lighthouse). Took our time and wandered over the rocks around the lighthouse enjoying the fantastic view from many angles. Take your time and sit for a spell, listen to the water, pose for a few pictures (hard to get a bad picture angle here!). Easy to walk out on the rocks and get a 'selfie' with the lighthouse in the background!

We visited Peggy's Cove during the hurricane on July 5th - a curious time to go for sure but the vistas were spectacular, in a severe sort of way! Watching the uninterupted views of the cresting Atlantic crashing against the giant rocks and the lighthouse standing against the screaming winds was amazing. And the small, brightly painted fishing cottages almost looked surreal against that gray backdrop. In good weather or not, just be sure you're careful walking around the rocks. It's fairly easy to slip, particularly closer to the sea spray.

I live in Halifax ns, and we get a lot of visitors from Ontario. This is one of the many places we that our guess. I have had no complaints from our guess. I enjoy going there as well.

The site of a million (or so) shipwrecks on the Novascotian coast, is guarded by the most photographed lighthouse (also a postoffice in the past) which is like a delightful stick of blue and white cheese on the end of the rocky shores at Peggy's cove.Do visit the lighthouse, so walk the barrens if not to pose before the structure itself.
