Take the time to check it out. Great place to chill in the heart of the village. The staff are great.

For a small resort library, the place is large. The staff are very helpful and it has stare of the art technology. Watched some streamed live TED Talks there last year and there will be more coming soon.

Just made my first visit to the Whistler library! They had a great selection of books, magazines DVD's and lots of other things. It is a new building too, so it's a pleasure to visit. I will be back for sure!

Outstanding - glad to hear they will soon have wireless printing. An exciting place to be, best library I have seen in a small town.

This is an amazing facility, I love that money was invested in infrastructure and services that provide books and educational materials to the community. However, as someone who attempted to come here multiple times to study at the desks (with earplugs and noise cancelling headphones) the sound of children running around, throwing toys, and screaming unattended was too much.This is a library. Yet they have a childrens play area not 50ft away from the study / reading area. I agree that children should be reading instead of watching TV but every time I go here there are unattended children without a parent in sight running around knocking things over playing hide at seek in the book shelves or coming up to me and poking me while I'm trying to study. It would be much improved if they had the play area in a separate closed off region with doors to segregate the reading/studying part of the library from the screaming, toy-throwing children. I spent many hours in libraries at age 5-10 and this kind of behavior would never have been tolerated nor accepted, why is it continually accepted here?

Great place. Kids and teens corner. Music, dvd, books, magazine. A nice sofa corner with a fire place. Wifi. Visitors' card so the you can take out a dvd for the night at the hotel.

Amused my son for a couple of hours while i skied down the mountain. He is a book king so this was perfect for him.

Wonderfully new library in the center of Whistler. Great place to find books/DVDs/Music cds to use while on vacation!

Well laid out with lots of displays showing the development of the ski mountains and the characters who were crazy enough to build and ski it.

Great place to relax, read magazines, search for books, order some books if you're a member, a very chill place that doesn't cost anything in Whistler :) Plus has free books to give! Everything you might like and more!

Excelent services, building, confortable, wonderful for children, worths doing a card even if using it for few days because it is really wonderful

The library has the most friendly and helpful staff. The environment is warm, clean, modern and quiet. Great kids corner for the littlies and fantastic resources!

Took my 4 year old, a great place for kids to be comfortable exploring books & playing games, great facility.

The library is newish and of modern construction with wood beams and structural members visible. It has comfortable chairs to sit and read while you are there. The best part though is the size of their inventory. For a small town like Whistler it is very well stacked so to speak. The other thing I really appreciate is the ability to request that the library purchase an item they don't have on the shelves, or in the alternative get it from some other library and advise me when it arrives. The staff at the library are extremely helpful in this way. I actually think the library is one of my favourite venues in Whistler.

Whenever we had questions the people were very helpful. Enough space and choice for the size of the Whistler community.
