We spent a good 3-4 hours here walking on the beach, sitting on the logs and people-watching. When the fog rolled in, it turned into quite a mystical setting. Very romantic setting! Did a little tai chi from memory on the beach for fun after seeing a woman doing it. What a perfect place to do it!

Excellent campground with basic facilities. Short hike down to the amazing beach. We try to visit here at least every two years. Would go more if the ferry didn't cost so much.

If you're looking for a place to go for a long walk/run Long BEach is the place to go. The sand is well compacted so is stroller/bike/scooter friendly. The many dogs are very friendly and mostly leave you alone unless invited for a head scratch!

Ana amazing place! Natural beauty and wild power! Waves are incredible for surfing! Lots of walking and hiking trails in the area as well.

Pacific Rim National Park is a treasure with miles of beautiful sand beaches and pounding surf. Long Beach is gorgeous with easy access for everyone. It's easy to spend a lot of time here watching the surfers and roaming the shoreline. A wonderful experience for all ages!

We walked the whole Beach and took a ton of pictures because the scenery was constantly morphing into one spectacular scene from another.

Beautiful and deceptively long beach. I thought i would go for a long run on the hard pack sand. Well i ended up doing over 12 miles (I think) Sun was out and unbelievably warm for the end of February. Beautiful!

For the real west coast feel of large beaches, big surf and endless walking Long Beach is the one. The only knock is that you have to pay to park.

Long Beach is worth going to if you're in Tofino, but my partner and I were actually shocked that you had to pay to use the beach, especially having grown up travelling the BC coast and never encountering a public beach requiring a FEE before.. Disclaimer though, you only have to pay if you enter through the main entrance into the main parking. There's another small parking lot further down that's free but if you go in high season, don't expect to find a parking spot quickly. Anyways, Long Beach still is a good attraction, though personally I think Chesterman's Beach is superior (and free of charge). If you can, make sure to do both!

What more to say, a long beautiful beach! Park fees are getting a little high, cost me $9 for me and my girlfriend to walk some of the beach for an evening. You pay at a machine and put your ticket on the dash. Interesting to see Japanese garbage on the beach from the tsunami.

There is nothing between the beach and the Pacific Ocean, so quiet, peaceful & beautiful. A breathtaking detour in a magical place. I could just sit and watch the particles of sand make their way back to the Ocean.. so mesmerizing.

Drive right up to the beach. Public restrooms present. Enjoyed watching the surfers. Grabbed take away breakfast and enjoyed it beach side while watching the big crashing waves.

The Long Beach at Tofino is prefer for surfers. There have a lot of surfers suffering here in the summer time. I was visited in the winter time but still have a few people's suffering here. Its Amazing place.

I really love this beach.. so different and you can really merge yourself with nature.. the woods on the beach/ the tide and the wave.. I went there in the late afternoon with sun set all myself.. If you are around that area.. must enjoy the space.. love it and would love to visit again..
