north glenmore park

It has ample parking, benches, bbq pits and trails.It's a great place to hang out regardless of the day or time. The park is open year round and the trails are fairly well kept. There are separate walking and biking paths. In addition, there are numerous playground zones for kids. On a good day you may need to hurry over for a bench. The view over the river is unparalleled and i'd recommend it as a day trip for a picnic, or just a place to go to to improve your mood and connect with nature.

This is a spectacular park in the middle of the city. Such a beautiful place for walking or biking .. lots of picnic spots, tennis courts, plenty of space, a short walk to the Weaselhead ..just a beautiful park

This is a huge park. In the summer they have movies in the park and other organized events that are all free. There is also the south glenmore park that has plenty of hiking trails around the lake. Plenty of playgrounds and green space away from the bustle of traffic. Bike trail will also take you to Heritage park which is not far away from South Glenmore park.

having used this park on many occasions to break up a busy business day or unwind at the end of the day this park offers you place for quiet contemplation and away from the hustle bustle

This is a beautiful park in the SW, straight down Crowchild Trail till the end. It is well used and loved by Calgarians at all times of the day. There are many pathways throughout the park to enjoy as well as views. Parking can be an issue during summer months and weekends. There are also great playgrounds a short drive from the park entrance. No regular food services.

The walking paths go for miles and miles.it's so scenic and a great place to take your dog for a nice leisurely stroll.

Loved taking the walk around the reservoir hard on our dog though seeing water and not being allowed to enjoy a dip.

Great place to go with the family for a weekend picnic. Busy pathway on sunny weekends but there's lots of space for everyone.

This is a very peaceful park, wonderful pathway so one can go for a long walk, there is lots of parking, a playground for the kids and a huge green space for kite flying on windy days.

Great Sunday BBQ place with the family. Amazing place for walking and biking. Off road and road. Being around the water makes this park that much nicer.

Many picnic sites with good access to washrooms. Bike or hike in the park on its trails or go down to walk in the Weasel Head. Lots of free parking.

Love walking through Glenmore park or even bicycle. Take a friend or family and enjoy the view and fresh air, lot's of parking.

I recently trained for my first marathon, North Glenmore Park was my "long runs" stomping ground. The trip around the reservoir is perfect for running weekend "half marathons" in prep for the full one. Beautiful scenery and very little interaction with traffic.

Beautiful scenery, great hiking, biking and slow walking. Great place to spend an afternoon just relaxing. And the wildlife is abundant.
