We love the Semaphore Odeon - cheap prices, good movies and plenty of variety with 3 theatres - we never go anywhere else as we want to support our local theatre and make sure it never closes.

The Odeon Star shows current popular releases at less than half the cost of the multiplex cinemas. One tip, however, is that they only accept cash so don't go expecting to pay with your credit card. There are three cinemas, two of which have screens on the smallish side. Prices in the candy bar are far more reasonable than other cinemas, too.More restaurants are now opening up along Semaphore Rd, so grabbing a meal before/after a film is now an option. Semaphore is a little out of the way for us, but we think it's worth the trip.

Good value theatre at a set price of $9. The three cinemas are comfortable and the staff are friendly and curteous. Cinema shows current movies.

Prices to the cinema are much less than most and remain constant for at least a year. Holiday seasons are quite busy but there are 3 cinemas and many scheduled times to avoid the rush. Great ice creams as well from the candy bar.

We decided to go to the movies tonight & visited the Odeon Cinema at Semaphore in Adelaide SA, the price is $9.00 per person, this includes children & concession card holders, for 2 tickets to This is Where I Leave You, 1X large soft drink, 1X medium popcorn & 1x choc top ice cream all for just $28.50, This Cinema allows you to take the family buy all your treats at the kiosk all for the price of just the tickets at the 2 other major cinema companies in Adelaide. I would strongly recommend any family to consider this cinema, even for the drive to Semaphore it will still work out cheaper.
