When visiting the Blue Mountains, do yourself a favour and check out Mount Vic Flicks. Forget about the mass produced type of theatres around in the cities and suburbs. This is a real step back in time. Funny little old theatre but with a great variety of current movies. The real treat though is when it comes to the food, drinks and snacks we all want at the movies. The lovely wife (a young husband and wife own the theatre) will serve you a cup of tea or coffee in a china mug all for the princely sum of $1 or if you're being really extravagant $2.50 if you include a home made biscuit!!! I think she also serves home made scones and slices. Every time we go up to the Mountains we make the effort to head to this cinema. Nothing sophisticated but a step back to a time when life was so much simpler and sweeter. We love it.
