bli bli barra fishing park

We have been coming to this Barra fishing park twice a year for about the last 5 years, after today's experience it will be our last trip! The new owner has certainly cleaned the place up & added some much needed seating but his attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Our young son is a very keen fishermen & was excited to take his new rod, as we walked in the owner very rudely said to him 'what do you think you are going to catch with that!?' The whole afternoon he was constantly coming over & arrogantly telling us what to do. As in previous years we have never caught a huge amount of fish & today was no different, but our son did manage to catch & land a very nice Barra on his new rod that the owner scoffed at!!!! However the minute he did hook a fish the owner was straight over with his bad attitude once again. Such a shame, after all these years the boys have decided to call it quits on this place. Not sure if this is just his version of being helpful but we are easygoing people & he rubbed us the wrong way big time. If the new owner doesn't make a serious adjustment with his people skills, this place is doomed!

Great fun activity for the whole family. Much safer than in the wild - no crocs, sharks, snakes etc, & much cheaper.
