Great beach for relaxing, swimming and/or surfing. This is a quiet spot to relax with the kids, although there wasn't shower facilities or toilets. Perfect for watching the sun come up in the morning!
We stopped at Peregian Beach for a look around and a bit of a walk with friends, after lunching in the local area.It is located at the southernmost point of the Noosa region just after Marcus beach and only a small detour off of the Sunshine Motorway.A more secluded, almost private beach with hardly anyone around. Perfect!
Came here after Cyclone Marcia. Lots of debris and sea foam . Sea too rough to swim in. Everyone very cheerful and chatty . A good place to enjoy a very long walk.
Very few beach goers, part-patrolled beach. Beach was great for a long, uninterrupted walk. Peregain Surf Club was closed!
Beautiful beach lots of parking. Great for a walk or a picnic. Just love spending the day here with the children.
Excellent picnic facilities and lots of covered areas. Easy access to beach and good wash off areas. The area surrounding the picnic areas did bother me a bit with the likelihood of snakes, but otherwise nice and clean
This is a lovely area away from the madness of Hastings Street. A lovely area for families with a park and nice beach with surf club.A few shops to walk around mainly for the ladies.
You can walk for miles on an almost deserted beach with fine sand and the odd surfer. Beautiful beach just outside Noosa.
I like the village feel of Perigian with a lot of the cafes around a central grassy park.It seems to be a friendly place and most things seem to be the BEACH SIDE of the Main Road which is a real PLUS! Chris Gwin
Away from Noosa, this great little town is welcoming and very liveable. Its a pitty that the Surf Club went under (no pun intended) financially, as I was told several times that it was a great spot with good meals.
Beautiful beach and patrolled. Doesn't allow dogs and waves were a bit choppy when we were there. You can drive to Noosa if necessary.
We wandered around the Perigian Village , helpful shop keepers , great food and coffee available. We then wandered over to the Beach Market, great massage available , reasonably priced
Perfectly located to the shops and Hastings Street, much better than many QLD beach resorts where the beach is a fair walk from the action, you can be swimming within 60 seconds from the main shopping strip yet its crystal clear, very clean
Amongst the hustle and bustle of all the other more famous and larger resorts on the coast, Peregian Beach stands out as a beautiful almost romantic destination
Peregian Beach is a lovely open beach located just north of Coolum off David Low Way. Plenty of parking available near the beach. Beach is patrolled by surf lifesavers. Open beaches can be dangerous, swim between the flags. The shops offer beachside fashion & healthy food options and have a lovely community vibe. Great morning market from 7am on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month - definitely worth a visit!
