Esplanade boardwalk是沿着Esplanade大道和海岸之间的林荫道。夏天的Cairns天气真的很不错，白天阳光灿烂，太阳落山傍晚时分常常会下一阵子雨，阵雨过后，海滨凉风习习，绝没有湿热的感觉，这时候很适合在海边散步。Esplanade boardwalk是一个很好的休闲区域，靠近海湾的一侧有木栈道，而沿着Esplanade大道则有为慢跑和自行车骑行修建的专用道，这样散步、跑步、骑车的人互不干扰，而在草坪上有专门设置带燃气装置的BBQ烧烤亭，有人在这里做着烧烤并享用晚餐。在夏季的晚风里，呼吸着新鲜空气，对我们这些来自拥挤城市的、饱受PM2.5困扰的人来说，在这样的环境里漫步本身就是一种享受，这个城市为每一个人提供了足够的公共资源，真是非常令人羡慕的事情。突然想起2010上海世博会的口号，城市让生活更美好。

黄昏时分,沿着木板路散步真的很惬意。你可以看到鹦鹉返回位于滨海区树丛的栖息处,中间几乎不发出一点声音,真神奇!!!

我真想不起来还有什么城市的市中心有这么大的公共游泳池,周边应有尽有,有个不错的酒吧(Rattle & Hum),还有很多餐馆和购物的地方。即使你不游泳,至少可以用脚玩玩水,照些照片。

板走是一段长长的路。无论走在早晨或傍晚都非常轻松。如果你中途想停下来的话,白天在繁忙的区域,那里有音乐和艺术市场。

Cairns boardwalk gets very busy but its well worth strolling along. You can walk from the airport road to the far port end. Lots of bbqs and grass area for picnics, plenty of restaurants and cafe's. A free swimming pool - The Lagoon and Muddys Cafe with small childrens play equipment and water fun. Exercise stations along the way and each day free exercise classes. Beautiful scenery looking out over the coral sea, bats, pelicans and plenty of photo opportunities. We are so lucky to have this in our city.

Make sure you go as far as the Marina! There's a nice bar/restaurant worth a visit called Salthouse.

The Esplanade in Cairns is the heart of the city, and sports a free swimming pool in the centre where people of all ages and colours can be seen swimming, sun bathing or just hanging out. There are free Yoga classes and Tai Chi on offer which seem to be well attended, in fact every day there some type of exercise class on offer around 6.30am, and again in the afternoon. There is a café with some basic fast food on offer, but more gourmet fare is also available in the many cafes and restaurants opposite. Nearby you also have ‘The Pier’ complex, which is worth a visit. There are tourist shops and a café here, and a visitor information centre, which we found very helpful.

It is free, a walk along the esplanade next to the coral sea. Lots of interesting things to see, pelicans were especially interesting. Information points worth taking the time to read. Well used by locals and tourists alike. Exercise stations along the way. magic at sunset when the bats and birds are flying.

Cairns has no beaches, but its buzzing with tourists, and most of the restaurants are busy. the esplanade walk is nice especially after a meal or drink, so you can look out and watch the tourist boats going in or out, quiet peaceful and relaxing.

A really pleasant boardwalk - there is no beach in Cairns itself - but there is a large pool with sand at the side on the esplanade - great for kids. Just the place to chill - if you can in the heat!A very good vibe about the place - the same can be said of Cairns itself - low rise and laid back - liked it

The Cairns Esplanade has all these to do or you can just relax, have a bbq or cross the road and have a Coffee, snack,or maybe Lunch. Go after dark for Dinner or a soothing walk along the Tree Lined Path that meanders all the way to the Pier Precinct where you can watch the Boats come in from a day at the Reef.The Lagoon Pool is it's main attraction with views accross the water.Cairns Night Markets is also along the Esplanade along with a Large Food Court, shops abound with everything from Clothes,Trinkets to a Massage. The Esplanade is a beautiful place to see and enjoy

Loved walking along the Espalande Bardwalk every evening. It was such a lovely atmosphere with people having picnics and children playing. Will definitely stay near the Esplanade Boardwalk next time I am in Cairns.

It was pleasant and there was plenty of shade. The tide was out, so the sea didn't look that great, but there was plenty of bird life to look at.

this walk can take you half an hour or four hours, The boats around the marina to the restaurants to the large beach pool Fantastic.

A beautiful water front pool and park area. It is a great relaxing place to hang out. There are music and flame dancers there. A lot of great restaurants close by. I liked the filtered water dispenser to refill your water bottle.
