The atmosphere was lively but not too busy. Ordered off the specials menu a Farmers Steak which came with chips, salad and gravy for a good price and sounded great. I ordered it rare and the waiter confirmed. 40 minutes later a waiter came with a meal that he told us was ours, when we informed him it wasn't he said that this was definitely for table 5 (ours was 8 as we pointed to it) and he left in a huff. 50 minutes later the waitress came over and asked if my steak had gravy on it (strange question since it clearly stated on the board and there was no option), after the rest of the table had eaten and their plates cleared. The steak arrived another 10 minutes later well done on the outside and medium rare on the inside.

We stopped off for an evening meal here. The food quality was very good indeed, and the service was so friendly.
