Enjoyed a recent visit with friends to Stanton and Killeen. The cellar door and tasting room is functional and the grounds are well maintained. The staff are knowledgeable and provided good insights into their wines. A variety of local produce is also available for purchase. Overall, a pleasant experience. Thanks for your vote if you found this review helpful.

We called into this winery because our local bottle shop expert said it had quality fortified wines. Then our B&B hosts said it allowed dogs to also visit. We visited this winery at the end of our day wine tasting so concentrated on those to taste. Staff were friendly and willing to work with our requests. We went away with a lovely Topaque (not the prize winner) but delicious also.

Apart from loving the friendly, fluffy winery cat sitting on cartons of wine near the fire; the heavier reds here were very enjoyable. We were served by a lovely man who took his time to talk us through the wines available for tasting, as well as some that were not.Great experience, would recommend!

At last after years of enjoying some of the best muscat Rutherglen has to offer, I have finally made the journey to the Rutherglen and Stanton & Killeen. Like a face to a name, I get to visit where a chunk of my wine cellar comes from. While it was a little lower key than I was expecting, and Easter was very quite, the cellar door experience was delightful. Pleasant chats to the staff and the parting of some folding stuff for a few bottles of liquid heaven and the dream was done. An excellent visit to match their excellent wines.

If you like reds and fortifieds, this is the right place to be. Staff are friendly, cellar door is situated on beautiful premises not too far out of the Rutherglen township. The fortified selection is especially large, including vintage ports, muscat and tokay of varying ages (the latter two can be bought in bulk for those with barrels etc.). Big reds are also here in a smaller selection, and pack a punch in terms of flavour. Personal favourites are the Durif and Rutherglen Topaque (tokay).

Another great winery, specialising in the fortified wines too. Worth a visit and even more, worth taking some home too.Thank you for ensuring we experienced everything our tastes desired.

This winery has a superior selection of fortified wines. Probably the best in the region. Good selectIon of tokay, muscat and port. They have a great selection of vintage ports. If you bring your own container they will even sell you their bulk ports! Well worth a visit and taste.

Have enjoyed the fortified wines from this winery for many years. A visit to cellar door is always good and the staff are more than happy to teach you about their product. A great place to visit with excellent wines at realistic prices

Stanton and Kileen winery was the 2nd winery on our list for the afternoon and it didn't disappoint. We were the only group there and the staff member gave us his full attention. The tastings were good - in particular the muscats, With the staff being so friendly and helpful it made for a very enjoyable visit. More wine made its way to our cars.

A delightful cellar door and knowledgable staff. THE premier place in Rutherglen for vintage ports, and they make a first class topaque

We always stop at S&K during the March long weekend 'Tastes of Rutherglen' and then anytime we in need of a good red or a top up of Muscat or Port (not sure that they are stilled called Muscat and Port but you ow what I mean)In March they have a big marquee and some live music and after visiting a few other wineries this is where we stop and prop, glass of wine, a bit of a dance and life is good. The staff are always friendly and pretty soon know your name (or does this mean I drink too much wine). The grounds were upgraded a few years back and now you can sit on the nice lawn under the shade of a tree and enjoy your wine. Pity they don't serve food, even just a couple of different platters would be a great.

We had a friendly and knowledgable host who gave us a free taste of their rare muscat. Beautiful wines, and their bulk muscats were great value, especially the 2008.

If you like your ports/ muscats etc., then this place is a must visit. There were a few other visitors when we visited, though we did not have to wait long for tastings. The staff were knowledgeable and generous with their portions. Also a very short drive from Rutherglen township.

We stayed at Must Love Dogs B & B that recommended Stanton & Killen Wines as a dog friendly winery as we were travelling with our puppies. Beautiful winery that did welcome our dogs. Hubby bought lots of lovely wine and we will return. Very friendly service and great wine.

I visited here with a friend. I was not a massive fan of the wines here, but it does have a large estate that has a nice aspect.
