Myself hubby 2 kids and another family stop here on the weekend home from echucaIs one of those cute little pubs with an open fire and it did not disappoint. Prices were like Melbourne so we did expect a little cheaper but they food was incredibleKids menu great at $9 and adults ranging from $15-33A MUST VISIT

My family came here on fathers day mainly for the brewery. due to it being rather busy we didn't get the opportunity to have lunch there. there was also a lovely little bear garden which was nice and it would be great on a summers arvo.

Quaint place. Great service beautiful meal. Good value lovely countryside comfortable miners cottage for two.

We arrived on a damp dark drizzly night and were the only ones in the pub dining room. So we sat by the fire. The dining room was off the lounge bar which backed onto the main bar. Simpsons and Futurama themes from the TV there tended to drown out the quieter dining room music. We were warmly greeted and chose from the straightforward and not extensive menu. We went for the bread & dips and gourmet pies (lamb&shiraz and steak&lager). The ambience, food and service were all comforting. Rhe wine selection was refionally based from Heathcote and Strathbogie. We didn't have far to go as we were staying in the attached cottage - separate review. The coffee was good and we left relaxed and satisfied.
