Went there twice in Euro 2012 to see England vs France and then England vs Sweden.Facilities are incredible, not a bad seat in the place. Intimate to the pitch, wonderful.Would love to go back one day

One of the best stadiums in the whole world. And of course it's moderner than Allianz-Arena in Munich.

I was there for Euro 2012 - England v Ukraine (England won 1 - 0, Rooney).6 hour train ride from Kiev to Donetsk - I'm not sure if this express train service will continue after the Euros. Grade A stadium.Difficult to get back to Kiev after the game so we went over to the Shakhtar Plaza hotel which had a nightclub we could stay in until the 6:00am train back to Kiev.

Great venue for a football game, I am sure that it would lend itself to other sporting events or music events.

The best stadium I visited during Euro 2012, with an atmosphere bettered only by Warsaw's National Stadium on the night Poland played Russia. The Stadium sits in the Donbass valley, and is part of a large parkland area which also includes the impressive war memorial and the Planetarium, i think.I was there during the Euros in June 2012.

Everyone knows that this stadium is ideal for football. If u have been id Donetsk and didnt see the stadium, you did something wrong :) Stadium have the hightest category and capacity of 63000.

Good place to spend time till the football match. Good food and you can visit the Museum of footbal the club Shakhtar Donetsk.That is all.

Definitely one of the places you need to see. This construction is just amazing and the light show at night is breathtaking. Heaters make you forget about cold weather and will keep you warm for the rest of the football match. I support everybody and THIS IS THE BEST STADIUM IN EUROPE!

Definitely worth a visit for a match if in town. Make sure you get a night match as it looks superb lit up. Heaters under the roof to keep you warm too!!

Donbass is an amazing stadium, undoubtedly one of the best in Europe but it's never going to be one of the most interesting! Giant heaters make you forget that it may be cold and rainy outside, fan cards to buy your hot dogs and souvenirs make it easy. However, some traditionalists hanker after football in a less sanitised environment. But this review is about the here and now rather than the past so top marks.

I love this stadium!! I dare to say it's one of the best stadiums in the world. :) Lucky me, I had a chance literally to live here for a month! It's a huge labyrinth! It took a whole week to get know it's every floor and corner. It provides everything for you to enjoy your favourite game in convenience and great atmosphere!! Here you can find all facilities you may need! Hope to visit it again next time I'll be in Donetsk!

I truly believe that Donbass arena is one of the best football fields in Eastern Europe. This stadium is just gorgeous. High quality visitor seats, clean and secured fan sectors, food available for purchase.

first time visiting a football arena and i think its great! the place is relatively clean, and the food stuff they offer is just snacks and overly priced! lol but the place give you a feeling of being safe especially with the whole football hooligan issues, the stadium looks absolutely gorgeous in both winter and summer, so the surrounding area is good for photos and stuff, you can also tour the stadium which i found interesting.
