One of the great European strolling boulevards, with seats, a wonderful view over the port, lovers immersed in each other on benches, and in the middle a decent cafe.
One of the best places in Odessa, especially in the evening, when it is either quiet in winter and crowdy with lots of musicians in the summer. So, if you visit Odessa - you definitely have to visit this place...
Nice, quiet place with beautiful sea and Odessa Port view, at the city centre, with Teshchin Most nearby) Especially magic at night time with a lot of ligth bulbs)))
The saxophone musicians are great there! The best park zone in Odessa, place just to relax, to think,to enjoy the nature
The boulevard was the center of Odessa, both political and geographical. It has the city council building on one end and the building that used to be the residence of the gouvernor on the other. The center has the famous Potyomkin steps and the exit to the port. Street musicians usually come here later in the evening. I wouldn't recommend buying souveniers here, though, since they can be bought much cheaper in the underground crossings near Sobornaya square or the railroad station.
very famous boulevard. Lots of cafe restaurants, street stalls, music playing must see. if you go to odessa, must visit
Great arcithechture and historical sightGreat view of the portGreat place to buy souveniersHighly reccomended!
Walking along here you see an avenue of trees and many tourists and locals in the area. Depending which way you walk you end up at the Potemkin Stairs. Not much to do but to take in the wonderful atmosphere.
Great view and nice trees, little glasshouse for some excavations, but nothing that makes you go wow. Sometimes in summer stage by Potemkin stairs.
Primorsky Boulevard is probably the second popular street in Odessa after Deribasovskaya. Very quit and peaceful place overlooking the sea and crossing many local attractions. There is a mix of locals and tourists there, many of them with kids.
nothing can beat the views you get while walking the length of this boulevard that connects my old neighborhood with the center of the city. Opposite the sea you'll find beautiful buildings among which a grand hotel. Along your walk you'll be surrounded by trees and your fit will touch brand new stones. But the best part is waiting for you at the end: the Potemkin steps - they will lead you down to the seaport, something that makes Odessa the very important city.
A calmer and spacier alternative to Deribasovska if one's want to have a leisure walk, with spouse, friend or family. Located above the port, between the City Duma (old Exchange) and Vorontsovsky Palace, its great boulevard, covered with trees and lined with some very nice buildings on the one side.Full of kids and their moms or grannies, tourists and other people enjoying the good weather, sea air and sun or shadow. There is a famous Potemkin stairs and Duke monument right in the middle of it - favorite landmark area of the city, and semi-circular buildings behind. Boulevard and Pizza and Grill restaurants are there, Londonskaya hotel also offers its best hospitality and cannon of the HMS Tiger reminds of the Crimean war of XIX century.Great for walk at any time and season.
A good place for a leisurely walk, a long boulevard overlooking the sea and the passenger port as well as the famous Duke's stairs featured in the "Warship Potyomkin" film in the 1920-s. One of the trademarks of the city with lots of souvenir stalls, tourists and locals walking their dogs or their spouses.
I liked Odessa and its heart, Primorsky Boulevard, from the first glance. Boulevard’s construction started in the beginning of the XIX cent. Then the splendid Vorontsov Palace, one of them, appeared at the start of the street. It served as a residence for the town’s governor, Mikhail Vorontsov. It is one of the boulevard’s architectural ensemble’s most prominent buildings, built in the traditions of Russian classicism. I remembered remember St Petersburg when looking at it. In the center of the street you will see the statue of Duce de Richelieu, the first governor of Odessa. From this place you can see the fantastic view of the port .If you wish to descend to the sea, you can go down the legendary Count Potemkin Stairs. Tsarina Catherina II gifted his favourite many places she loved herself...
It's a nice place to spend your evening during warm summer time in Odessa. There's a beautiful scenery over the famous Potemkinskaya Stairs, the passenger terminal and the sea. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants or you can simply sit on one of the many benches under the old trees and enjoy the views.
