So far the most beautiful cathedral I have seen. You can just spend hours looking at it from the outside... seems unreal how all the detail and color gives you the feeling of serenity even if you are not religious. Not to miss!

About 50 metres down the street from the Giuseppe hotel. Very beautiful!!! You are sure to make nice pictures to boast before your friends. Interesting icons inside. If you join a tourist group, you can learn a lot of historical facts.

I could not ste in because of the late time but,at least,I could enjoy the view,from outside,of this very coloured Church....

Lovely Russian Orthodox church in Kazan. We were told the interior was equally beautiful, although we weren't able to visit because the day our tour arrived in Kazan the church was closed. Still worth a visit to view the exterior decorations on this church.

I found this cathedral by chance while I was walking around. The outside decoration is really stunning! Unfortunately I didn't get in because there was a service going on. But just for the outside it's good to visit it.

St Petersburg is such a pretty place! It's like Venice or even Paris with abundant ancient architecture in the entire city. The Fortress is pretty and majestic. It's certainly worth a visit.

This Cathedral is something unique! It's Incredibly beautiful and very unusual decor of colorful fretwork makes it not only one of the best-looking ortodox churches but also one of the most interesting ones!The upper altar of the Peter and Paul Cathedral amazes from the first look! Seems like it leads to the very heaven but still remains to be something close and human. High celings make the room be full of light and air and eventually make visitors feel some kind of elation! And I'm not saying about religious sentiment - it's just excitement of something distinguished made with human's hands!My oppinion - this church is not only the Must see in Kazan, but also one of the greatest attractions of all Volga!

Well worth while a visit. Nicely renovated and unique look with beautiful outside wall paintings. Close to Kremlin. Easy to walk there.

we spotted the cathedral while leaving the kremlin and went straight towards it. the blue and white tops catch your eye. the cathedral is beautiful and clourful. just a fantastic sight. don't miss it while in kazan!

on the outside a nice building not been inside, but will look as most churches around.

When I walked out of my hotel in Kazan, this was the first building I saw, my jaw dropped in awe. It was so unusual and yet really beautiful. Certainly the painter was not afraid to use every colour of the rainbow when painting this church! It is especially magnificent on a Sunday morning when the bells ring before and during the service at significant parts. These are some of the most beautiful sounding bells I've heard.

The main thing that sets this cathedral apart from similar cathedrals in other parts of Russia is the style used in the decoration of the cathedral. Apparently an Italian architect was involved with the building of this church and this is particualrly noticeable from the decorations on the exterior of the cathedral.The cathedral appears bigger from the outside than it feels like once inside. The ineerior is pretty much what you would expect to see in a Russian cathedral and nothing out of the ordinary really.

Красиво, ярко, декор очень необычный для православного храма. Нижний храм поскромнее, в верхний надо подняться по крутой лестнице. С площадки у верхнего храма открывается вид на город

Старина, тишина и благодать. Только надо реставрировать, место историческое. Крестили там в 2010 году внучку, красивое таинство.

Как такое может не нравиться? Это храм, очень теплый по содержанию.Только очень скользко было,не чищено и лед под ногами :)
