Commonly ustilized by people out for runs and families on the weekend. The Sea Garden is a lovely place and sometimes features craft markets or local performances. It is also right along the beach!
This park is huge and very nice. It is located in the center of Varna, spreading on several kilometers right next to the sea and beach. It houses a naval museum, a zoo and several restaurants, plus lots of places were you can relax.
The Sea Garden is a relaxing place for a walk to view the sea. There are several restaurants, a carnival, skateboarding ramps and many other fun things to do. Easy access to the beach too. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varna, Bulgaria.
The most boring sea garden ive seeb, do not go there at winter it is cold and boring. you are most likely to be eaten by a dog there.
A lovely and huge garden, good for long strolls. Being next to the sea makes it even more interesting, and it's full of different attractions and activities.
Take a date, your dog or a few friends to the Sea Garden and spend the whole day, strolling slowly around the alleys. Grab a coffee in one of the small cafeterias around. Ride a skateboard or a bycicle. Watch the dogs playing in the grass. take a boat and row in the lake. Get a picture at the infamous curved tree. Or just go to the beach and swim...So many things to do in the Sea Garden!
It is a nice place to go for a walk but it should be renovated like many of the places in Bulgaria. However, looks really great during spring/summer-there are many flowers at that time. You can sit on a bench, relax and watch the sea.
The Sea Garden (Bulgarian: Морска градина, Morska gradina) is the Bulgarian port city of Varna's largest, oldest and best known public park, also said to be the largest landscaped park in the Balkans. Located along the city's coast on the Black Sea, it is an important tourist attraction and a national monument of landscape architecture.
A place where you don't need to spend money and still be entertained. Play with the kids in the open space or strike onto the beach. Cycles and carts available at a small cost and the train is great value for money, I would recommend a ride in this just to take in the gardens and all it has to offer in a short space of time. You can find space to sit and take in the views or even quietly chill out away from children playing. A great space for everyone.
The Sea Garden is gorgeous. I was in Varna for two weeks and the amount of times my boyfriend and I just went to the garden for a walk and of course the corn on the go that you can find vendors selling out of little stalls! It's a great place to relax, to meet friends, to have a picnic ... its brilliant! Although we did have to walk through part of the Sea Garden to reach the night clubs so maybe its not so good to visit at night. You can also rent bikes, electric scooters and lots of other fun things. There are historic monuments that were very interesting too.
My friend and I took a detour to Varna while traveling in Romania. Had no idea what to expect. This park is huge and just has everything. Great scenery, a small crafts market, and a live performance by the naval marching band. All in all a great afternoon.
The Sea Garden is huge, stretching along the coast, from the "Panorama" Hotel close to the south beach to the "Saltanat" area, including it.It is a very good place for a walk at any time of the day to breathe some fresh air. There are some very picturesque views of the Black Sea as well.Located in the Sea Garden are: the National Maritime Museum, the Aquarium, the Summer Theatre, the Planetarium, the Museum of Natural History, the Dolphinarium, the Zoo. There are also some restaurants, monuments and a small amusement park for kids.It is very colourful in the summer and a little bit sad in the winter. There are many cuts through which you can go down to the beach. One of the best places for a walk is the Olympic Lane.Wonderful place but here and there you will see signs of lack of maintenance and funding.
Sea Garden is the most green and beautiful places in Varna. I recommend to everyone to visit Sea Garden. Especially, it is good place for to walk with little children.
Varna's 'Sea Garden' is a public park which follows the shore line of Varna. Apart from the usual trappings of public park there are a number of monuments to historical figures (many from pre-communist Bulgaria), and the largest monument is the Pantheon (anti-fascist/communist monument). Around the the Pantheon you may be interested to find a ring of trees and plaques commemorating Russian and Bulgarian cosmonauts. Overall its a great public park with lots of interesting historical bits to watch out for.
Several rounds walking/jogging in the park both morning and late evening in our 3 day stay in the city. Ok lights for evening strolls and perfect morning jog place. Recommended.
