Friendly family run bar, which always make you feel welcome. Baraki bar is one I always visit every time I'm in Gouves, mostly busy with live music and great company.

This bar is well worth a visit. Excellent staff, good ambiance and live music at least 2 nights a week. Highly recommended.

The owners were very friendly and the the atmosphere is always great. Met a few nice people there, and had a couple of good nights.

This bar is worth the visit! We had a few days and nights popping in this lovely little bar. The service is wonderful and they remembered what we drank after just one night. The live music was fantastic and we certainly didnt want to leave. We will most definately be returning to this wonderful, friendly excellent bar. Well done guys!

Great little bar, made our holiday nightlife in Crete. Played the Scotland game first night and then we had the house band who were superb. Staff couldn't do enough for us and we will definitely return one day.

We visited crete october 2014 and Baraki made our holiday.The staff were excellent, friendly, polite and welcoming.We visited every night for our nightly shisha and top quality drinks.Twice a week they have a live band who again were excellent.If you are ever in the area or in crete then Baraki is a must.Without doubt one of the best bars / venues we have ever visited.Thanks guys we cant thank you enough.:)

This place is a must, lovely staff great vibe cocktails deliscious and at the end of the night a huge bbq was cooked and given out to everyone. Highly reccomend this place.

If you visit Gouves, Crete - or any surrounding area - this bar is a MUST.We visited the bar most days during our 2 week stay - it has THE best atmosphere, fantastic owners and staff who are professional whilst being very friendly and make you feel very welcome and relaxed.The live music nights twice a week are fabulous entertainment. The drinks are excellent and not over-priced, along with shots supplied courtesy of the owners!It truly is a gem and the best bar in Gouves.Thank you to you all for making our holiday a happy one and if we return to Gouves it will be because of this bar.

Spent two evenings in this bar while holidaying in Gouves, Crete. Both nights where when the live music was playing. The music was fab and the bar had a really good vibe to it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in. I would have loved to have been in Gouves longer to go to this bar again. Would 100% recommend it to anyone visitng Gouves or nearby!

Great live music here on a Monday and Thursday. They have lots of cocktails and Shisha to choose from. It's nice and relaxed and the staff are so friendly! definitely worth a visit.

We loved this bar!!The music was amazing (house and tech) on this occasion so I made a comment to Yannis working there and he made 2 CD's for me to take home!!! Such a lovely talented guy with loads of time for the customers. We returned another night for live music which was great. This bar is 'a must' when visiting Gouves.

Baraki means little bar, but what a big personality this place has. This is all down to the hard work of the brilliant Costas and Katerina. The welcome mat is always out, and they are very entertaining. Loved my time there.

What an absolutely awesome bar. Katerina and Costas have got such great personalities and this place oozes fun and laughter by the plenty, we had so much fun and would certainly return just to go back to Baraki Bar. Yonis also was brilliant. A must visit and the only bar to go in town. Thanks to you all for making this the best holiday ever xxx

We just returned from Gouves and when there we discovered Baraki, what a great bar nothing like the usual Greek taverna, more a modern clean contemporary bar. The manager was amazing as was the barmaid, they both recognized us instantly each time we arrived, gave us a wonderful welcome, always remembered our drinks interspersed with many shots of Raki!!!!! The music was great, lots of U2, Clapton, Santana etc the nights passed so quickly it was always really late when we left. It was also frequented by many locals and people from UK who now live there, had a good time in particular with Jacqui the mad Irish Lady and her little dog Squirt!!!! The Irish & the Welsh certainly get on!!!! especially the Jacqui's xx
