Maybe the best animal park in the area (the animal park in Daun is even bigger, but also more expensive and there is one hour drive between the two) - this is not a zoo but a wildlife park and you can feed and pet the animals. The park is pushchair and wheelchair accessible and one day is not really enough to see all the animals. There are 2 or 3 shows with birds of prey through the day, and feeding times are indicated on the animals' enclosures (a bit hidden, you need to look for it). There is also a little train that does the tour of the park (on the outer perimeter, so you still have to walk if you want to see everything), but only 2 or 3 times a day. Staff does not speak English, but you can use your imagination and mimic what you want. There is only one place where you can eat, in the middle of the park - next to the playground. Next to it (a bit hidden, so you have to purposefully look for it) there is a small "Bee space" where you have a glass hive so you can see the bees at work. You can also buy local honey and honey-based products. We have tasted five types of honey and bought two of them (summer honey - kids' preference and forest honey - mom's preference). The park is open all year round - we were lucky to have some sun end October, but as there are no indoor spaces, dress warmly. Keep in mind that from October onwards it gets dark early and the park is not equipped for night visits - even though nobody is kicking you out, and the last entrance is at 18.00.
