Fabulous structure in a very large square which boasts a very large market on Wednesday and Saturday.

A very beautiful church which simply cannot be missed by any visitors. As with most churches, it's central location actually makes it physically difficult to miss. A visit inside is well worth it. Restored after the war with an all-new main window, divided into symmetrical circles, and painted windows in a modern art style, you will certainly be impressed with the interior. A large statue of St. Christopher and a very old (and accurate) clock that tells time and the phases of the moon are also impressive to observe. Recommended for anyone interested in visiting beautiful places of worship.

My wife and I had just one hour spare to visit this amazing building. It is beautifully restored and I was very moved to see the tribute to Coventry Cathedral and the embodied spirit of mutual forgiveness. We were lucky to be there at midday and to see and hear the famous Glockenspiel play some Christmas hymns. A great experience and I recommend a visit.

We were thrilled to find that the scaffolding which covered the Dom two years ago on our last trip was all gone and that we could visit this lovely old cathedral. The inner portal has wonderful stone carvings and the inside of the Dom is most impressive. I have never seen such a huge St Christopher. The modern stations of the cross at the back of the choir are very lifelight and brutal. The piece de resistance is the ancient astronomical clock which has Magi which move at midday, a delightful procession.

Beautifully cleaned/restored inside and out and impressive. The 750 anniversary has just taken place. The central alter has imbedded in its base golden figures representing the 11 apostles, judas excluded, plus I gather two other figures added. Don't miss the modern glass behind the main alter section, extremely interesting. They have various musical events listed in a brochure by the main door. On one side is an interesting astronomical clock. It revolves figures ( the magi) at 12.30 should you be there.

Very large cathedral - surrounded by a lovely market on saturday and wednesday mornings which is usually very busy. Inside there is a beautiful astronomical clock and some modern looking stained glass windows which I really like.You can also pay an entrance fee around the back of the museum to visit the Domkammer (treasury) which has what you would expect - some paintings, lots of relics and old traditional religious robes. Not all artifacts are well described so we weren't sure what everything was (and it wasn't due to language issues!). The opening times for this are really limited - check on their website!

Recently spent a few hours in Munster and the lovely cathedral - not too be missed. Bought some beautiful bread in Munster where there are lovely but expensive shops. Great market twice a week and it is very pleasant to walk around. Some beautiful old clocks especially one high up in one street. We had the advantage of being shown around by our German friends and had a very good time there. Definitely a "must" if one is in the area. Watch out for the bicycles!

The cathedral is quite old and is one of the landmarks of Munster. It is worth visiting since there is no entrance fee and the sight-seeing city bus departs from the small square in front of the church.

A short term worker have a guided tour for free in English at 11am. Lots of interesting features to the Dom- well worth a visit.

The church is a beautiful building and it is well worth a visit. There is an old clock inside and a lot of tourists come to see it at 12 o'clock.On the square outside the church there is a big market with a lot of food every Wednesday and Saturday. If you go to Münster you must also visit this market.

A very interesting church, hard to say that it is any better or worse than any other Cathedral. We have visited the Dom on 2 or 3 occasions and find new things on each visit.

Münster is a beautiful well kept university city. You'll quickly see why students flock to this area. The streets, buildings and walkways are very well preserved with that flare that makes you feel you're walking through history yet the cool cafes and artistic shops scream ultra modern. In the summer, the parks are filled with BBQs, blankets, soccer balls and a very diverse group of students and elderly alike. The city is built for bicycles, so rent or bring one! Lastly, the Dome is a must see on a Saturday morning when local farmers bring their fresh produce to market. It's a nice time to pick fresh fruits for your stroll through this great city.

Stop to visit the cathedral is mandatory. A magnificent Construcap that appeals even to those who are not religious.

This cathedral build in the middle of the 13th century was wholly destroyed during the bombardments in the last year of WW II, only the beautiful astronomical clock dating from 1560 was left intact because of the arch above it had withstood the bombing. At noon after the door opens figures representing the three wise men will come out, turn to bow to Mary and the child Jesus, and vanish through the next door. This happens twice in succession. We especially came back at a quarter to twelve to see it, very well worth our while, be there on time, many groups of students and tourists will be there too.Very beautiful are also the modern stained glass windows by Professor George Meistermann on the east side. On the West side the old baroque altar stands.

This is a big curch. The curch is rebuilt after the WW II bombings. The the clockwork in the curch is original.
