thimble museum (fingerhutmuseum)

Over 4,000 thimbles from around the world made out of anything you can think of. Definitely you different museum as it is all in one small room out in the countryside (about a mile out of town).

I wasn't expecting to visit this museum but once I saw it, decided I had to go in and look around. I found it very interesting and not your ordinary look at daily life.

What an incredible place for this museum! On a back road opposite a church & little else!A quaint building housing virtually the history of thimbles from different countries.There are also other items of interest.

Algo tan simple como un dedal para coser y no pincharse los dedos con la aguja amerita realmente este museo donde hay 3.000 utensillos de costura. Los ornamentos de los dedales son asombrosos.
