Located in the Black Forest area, this nature walk offers you a chance to walk inside the forest. Wide trails, well marked, there is no reason to feel unsafe. You find yourself at multiple locations were you can take beautiful photographs of the waterfalls. But remember, were to park! Do you want to go up or down the hills after completing your walk. You find parking on both sides of the trails.

We were he on a gorgeous spring day and it was simply magical. The waterfall is actually a sequence of waterfalls which stretch for quite some distance, tumbling over many cascades. ...at the top of Triberg, with the trailhead located just uphill from the car park. We were only able to hike to the first falls, as it was snowing and icy, and the trail above was barricades (although we saw locals jogging higher up the trail). We worked up an appetite for lunch down the road!

A very attractive waterfall (I would call it a cascade) in a beautiful setting. You can climb as high as you like with good viewing platforms.

Just a short walk from the centre of beautiful Triberg, this waterfall is quite long, meandering down the slope, and with enough volume to be quite spectacular. We visited in late December and experienced the spectacular Christmas lights, the wonderful Christmas markets, and the live concert. It was a lot of fun. We would easily return here to check it out some more.

We visited the waterfalls in a hot summer day and enjoyed the beautiful falls and The Black forest that was like from a fairytale. We had nothing against the small entrance fee because this is the way the place can be maintained. If there wouldn`t be a fee the place would be full of rubbish soon because some people just don`t care. After the hike we went to the Café and ate delicious cakes with good coffee. We also visited the house of 1000 Clocks.

For the price of a cup of coffee, you can visit these beautiful waterfalls, walking through the forest to one lovely view after another. You can choose a variety of different paths, some easier for those less able, but do take the time to walk in the forest. Even the longest route does not take more than an hour or so, (depending on how many photo stops you take!) and leads you to the exquisite little Bergsee lake and the Baroque pilgrimage church "Maria in der Tanne".

The Triberger Wassefalle is one of the main attractions in Triberg. There's a little bit of a hike involved, but worth the effort.First, you have to pay to visit the falls. A few on Tripadvisor didn't like this, but I'm neutral on this. I've visited many natural wonders in the US run by the Park Service that I had to pay for. The Arches National Park in Utah is a good example. They have to keep the place maintained somehow and they just can't do it on "thanks" alone.Anyway, the path is easy if you don't have trouble walking. I enjoy walking, so this was right up my alley. There are rest stops along the way and many eichhoernchen to watch. You can buy squirrel food (peanuts) to feed our furry friends.If you don't enjoy nature or the outdoors, it may not be for you. If you enjoy looking at a natural wonder, having a nice walk in a beautiful forest, and like the sound of falling water, this place is for you.A must see.

Nice waterfalls but what a shame you have to pay to hike up steep rugged mountain paths for a view- over priced and no way to opt out of the fee (ticket booths at all entries) . Dont be sucked into buying squirrel food - they must be so overfed that they dont need to get out of bed - we didnt see any. We parked at the top and walked down.

The trial up the top of the waterfall was a nice, short walk my family and I enjoyed on a cold November morning. After the hike we stopped at Pfaff's restaurant for lunch and then visited the house of 1,000 clocks where we could see many samples of the famous coo coo clocks.

We had a wonderful walk up the well constructed path. Our hotel we stayed in gave a card for free entry. For us, it was a nice walk and clean air. Feel the water droplets fall from the air and glisten on your cheek.

Wonderful falls. Enjoyed it! The hike up to the falls was gorgeous. Nothing bad to say. We did not have to pay to see them (weather was cloudy) but that is ok. I don't think I would pay to see them.

There are 3 trails of different length and difficulties to choose from - they are all much shorter than they seem on the map and quite easy. We eventually took the red "cultural" route, which takes you halfway up the waterfalls, and then away into the woods where you will encounter the Forest Fun rope course, ending in a tiny lake and an easy walk (on the street) back to the starting point. The park is well kept and clean, with plenty of great photo-ops and places to rest in the shade. We didn't meet any squirrels, but rumor has it they do roam around. If you're in the black forest, you should come take a stroll here, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this.

Triberg is a town that could be in a fairy-tale. It's picturesque German houses in amongst the black forest is magical. I climbed to the top of the waterfall with my sister and uncle and we had a lovely time. We finished our afternoon by buying three cuckoo clocks - (of course!) and ate a piece of the original black forest gateaux. It is one of my favourite places I've ever been...
