This "Angel fountain" in 1574 was created as urban water source (architect Michael Matzer and sculptor Mathes Vogel). Two Angels bear the Earl‘s society coat of arms, further secular figures (shire reeve, Councillor, Stadtbaumeister, artists), planets with their zodiac (known in that perticular period): Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Hermes.
