Where can you get WIFI in konstantz? So this vegeterian yogi found herself sitting amongst the teenagers and older people feeling the people...not far is the Bodensee, very prettyThe smell of fried food is not doing good things to my mind but the internet here is free and available .Apparently Germany does not allow connecting to internet through public venues so this is IT for the laptop people...one other person downloading photos of scenery. It is a nice community gathering, the dog is happy but not fed ..I did not order anything, munching my vegeterian crackers with my mineral water waiting for my meeting..Not the worst placethough there are plenty of nicer more attractive places, the location is excellent and the internet flos.Listening to a "Wind of change" by the scorpians,connecting to the relatively easy going energy having arrived from the uptight swiss border ...The German here is easy to understand, i dont have to mix French and roman rooted words that the swiss have cooked up to complicate communication.I like this little town. The view is magnificient .The dog is happy too. A good meeting place!

This is a beautiful tower that was built around 1200 to protect the medieval wooden bridge that once stand at its side in Konstanz. It is made of stones and wood and it is 35 ms tall.From the tower there is a beautiful view of the Rhine River and the new bridge which the tower still protects.The Rhine Gate Tower, together with two other gates that are still there, represents the only defensive structures preserved from the medieval time. There are other buildings in the old town, but this defensive structures are very interesting and surround what was the medieval town.It´s possible to visit inside the tower, but we didn´t have the time to come back.In any case, it was a nice walk along the towers and lots of learning about them.
