This church is a wonderful ancient structure that features great artwork, stained glass and striking design. It is something to definitely visit while in the area.

A real oasis of calm in a very busy tourist town. Well worth visiting; some stunning church art work in the baroque style. Take a good look at the hand carved wooden pulpit as well as the alabaster (I think) Stations of the Cross. The High Alter is highly ornate & gold gilded & the 4 side alters while not quite as ornate are nevertheless also very beautiful. Despite all the art work which is a total feast for the eyes this church also has a very nice spiritual feel & ambience & it's quite possible to feel prayerful & meditative there as indeed I did at the side alter dedicated to the Sacred Heart. Definitely well worth visiting.

Having visited many churches in my life such as Note Dame in Paris, or St. Stephens in Vienna, I can say that, while not of the same caliber, this church was quite enjoyable to visit. As all churches, the atmosphere inside is very peaceful. If you need some calm and want to reflect on things, this is a great place to be. The decorations are typical of a catholic church, ranging from beautiful stained glass windows, to a variety of paintings and statues. There is a crypt that you can also visit, which is neat. The highlight for me was that you are able to climb to the top of the church tower, even past the point where the huge bells are. The cost is €2 for adults and €1 for kids under 14. It is a narrow climb up to the top, and no visible elevators, so if you are not physically able, I would refrain. As you near the top of the tower, you can see the huge bells. Beware, the bells go off every 15 minutes, and put out 120 decibels... a rock concert is 115 dB, and instant pain starts at 125dB, so cover your ears! Once you get to the top, you can walk all around to get a 360 view of the entire area. If you need more heights, then you can keep climbing and get to the top of the church steeple. The view, however, while magnificent, isn't that different from the previous spot. Of course, if you suffer from vertigo (afraid of heights), then remain at the bottom, and admire the paintings and statues.Overall, a great and cheap activity. I thoroughly recommend it if you want to have a great view of the area on a nice day! Enjoy!

I have stopped in to visit this church a couple of times and each time it has been very tranquil with few visitors. It’s a nice place to contemplate and enjoy the decorations offered by this church. At the entrance there is a reading area with a lot of materials. It's mostly white interior, but decorated with intricate sculptures and paintings. There is also a large painting on the ceiling as well as painting above the side arches. At the rear are also several headstones underground that one can view which are of note.

Wunderschöne alte Kirche mit herrlich bemalten Fenstern und kostbaren Antikithäten.Die Atmosphere ist ruhig und besinnlich . Wir haben die Messe besucht , die uns ebenfalls verzaubert hat.

Ich war zu einem Chor-Konzert dort - sehr gute Akustik dazu.. Würde gern ein Orgelkonzert dort besuchen.

Als Konstanzer kann ich behaupten, dass es eine wunderbare Kirche ist. Vor allem der Klang in der Kirche ist klar und für Musik u. Gesang perfekt. Sie wurde mit viel Aufwand renoviert und da es eine City Pastoral Kirche ist, d.h. offen für alle mit Gelegenheit von direkter Ansprache kann ich jedem empfehlen, bei einem Besuch in Konstanz oder einem Einkaufsbummel mal schnell oder auch länger Halt zu machen, inne zu halten und sich auf das Wesentliche zu konzentrieren. Da schon meine Oma u. Opa dort im Kirchenchor gesungen haben bzw. meine Eltern dort geheiratet haben (vor über 60 Jahren) hat sie für mich auch einen großen Stellenwert.

Die ehemalige Augustinerkirche zur Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit ist bei Reiseführern in Konstanz noch nicht so recht angekommen. Das ist eigentlich schade: das Bauwerk steht für Konstanzer Stadtgeschichte und hat während des Konzils 1414-1418 eine sehr wichtige Rolle gespielt.Natürlich spielt die Lage am Ende der Rosgartenstraße hier auch eine Rolle: in der Umgebung wurden viele geschmack- und sinnfreie Neubauten errichtet. Auch das schlichte Äußere lässt sicher manchen Besucher der Bodensee-Stadt an dem Gebäude vorbei laufen.Wohl hat auch die sehr lange Sanierungszeit dafür gesorgt, dass die heutige Pfarrkirche noch nicht so beachtet wird: die frühere Nähe zum See machte umfangreiche Arbeiten vor allem auch in den Fundamenten notwendig. Die Arbeiten waren erfolgreich: der Innenraum ist eine Stätte der Ruhe. Die schlichte Ausstattung lässt die barocken Altäre gut wirken; besonders zu beachten sind die Bilderfriese im Mittelschiff in Fensternähe. Lediglich der Eingangsbereich mag nicht so recht gefallen.Ein guter Raum für Meditation im oft zu quirligen Konstanz!
