Well, we visited zoomarine in summer 2014. Is so fabulous....with many nice and intresting things to do and see...So rich...attractions ...our kids just love it...The kids enjoyed the amusement park, especially- the pirates boats- where you can shoot water at one each other.... Undoubtedly- the highlight of the day were the shows- the dolphins show- with the coachers swimming with the dolphins and the cute seals! We had a wonderful day!!!One day is not enough to enjoy all the attractions...So many Information for all the attractions and for all these fantastic animals all in Italics..not even some english.Recomended!
Pretty expensive for entry and food. We were staying in Rome and fancied a venture out of city. We were expecting a water park with marine shows but were presented with an average roller coaster and pathetic flumes. It felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, so no option but to pay the price for average food. I was here with my fiancé and we both come to the conclusion that this park would be alright for families with kids under 6. On the plus side - there was a dolphin show, which stopped it from being a completely worthless trip.
The place is ideal for friends and family visit. The entry fee is very much reasonable.management of the place is nice.
Having found where to get the bus the day before near platform 1 just outside Termini we arrived at Zoomarine. Our disabled son in a wheelchair, but can walk small distances, had a great day. The place is accessible, staff very helpful and stopped the pirate ride so he could get on. Plenty of staff on hand, the place is clean, water play area a good size and my son love the zumba session. Rides aimed aimed at under 12's so ideal for my son. Food was typical fast food of burgers but had salad pots and pasta. Having just come from france waterpark this place was cheaper, a lot cleaner, well staffed and the shows entertaining. The high diving show was very exciting. Highly recommend this place as a full day out for families
Well, we visited zoomarine in Rome in summer 2014. Is so fabulous....with many nice and intresting things to do and see...So rich...attractions ...our kids just love it...So stupid but we spend 10 minutes outside off the exit of an attraction thinking was the entrance...and waitin to open...it is to bad we did not find inside not even one english label for exit and entrance...so many Information for all the attractions and for all these fantastic animals all in Italics..not even some english (International language)but you have tourists too...give respect to tourist people...they spend to many maney to come to your park....give some money to have 5 minutes recorded massage for every attraction so evryone can undrestand....
we got out of rome to the termini station. Because the website is all in italian- we did`nt understand that there is only one shuttle to the park on 9;30 am. We missed it in some minutes...we took the metro and then the bus- it took us about one and a half hour.....we got there by noon. We were in the wonderful pools, the water slides... we saw the feeding of the cute seals. The kids enjoyed the amusement park, especially- the pirates boats- where you can shoot water at one each other.... Undoubtedly- the highlight of the day were the shows- the dolphons show- with the coachers swimming with the dolphins and the cute seals! Although we don`t speak Italian- it did`nt bother... We had a wonderful day!!!One day is not enough to enjoy all the atractions...
My kid loved and so do I. What a fun day! We got a family package , 2 adults and 2 kids for 70euros, really good deal! We watched 3 shows and all them were very good! I felt myself in a America park. Just think is very expensive paying 5 euros for parking...My kid was lucky to be asked to go on stage and got a photo for gift. Very nice! He was so happy!
We visited Zoomarine with our 5 year old in July 2014. She loved all of the live shows - especially the dolphins. We speak Italian so really enjoyed the narratives that went along with the shows - not sure if they have anything in place for non Italian speakers so that might be an issue for some. We appreciated the fact that once you have paid your entry there are no additional costs for shows or rides. We went during the week. Parking was very easy & close to the entrance. The crowds for all of the shows flowed very easily in and out of each venue with no stress. Our daughter wants to go back when she is old enough to meet the dolphins. (This is something you would pay an extra fee for and are advised to book online in advance of your visit)All in all a lovely family day out.
Fantasic place with lot of fun and very good value for money.my kids loved it aged 6 and 8 but there are rides to fit all ages. and excellent shows . we were lucky a seal ( pinnipiedi) had his birthday and they prepared a seafood cake for him and the audience greeted him .the pirate ride was awesome!! its a total battle with water guns onboard ships i had to tow my kids from there. :)
We visited Zoomarine with our two sons, age 9 and 11 in June 2014. The park seemed quite small compared to other parks in Europe, but when we went to the shows, it was just fantastic. Our boys liked the dolphins most and the pinnipeds and parrots as well. We were a little sad that the shows were only in italian, but we understood the meaning. After watching all the shows, we went to the pool area. There were two pools and enough tubes to slide down. Pools were clean and very effectively guarded, there were stuff everywere. We enjoyed the day there, but the only minus in this park is very poor toilet area, dirty and smelly:(
Travelling to the park was dreadful bus dropped us at least 2km away from park and had to walk rest of way along a busy road. The park itself was terrible 1 rollercoaster 3 water rides yet charged 72 euro for entrance. The food was disgusting an overly priced. Will never return ruined our family day out away from the city!!
The school was about to end and so I decided to allow my eight years old son to "play truant" and bring him, together with my wife, to enjoy the fun at Zoomarine. We left home just before 10am, although the park was also opening at 10am, because we decided not to rush earlier than that in order to avoid the nasty morning traffic in Rome, being that we were to cross from downtown towards Ostia lido, and so we arrived at Zoomarine just minutes after 11am. The car park was almost empty, apart for few buses which we later discovered had taken kids from Italian and also UK schools to Zoomarine. There was only a ticket counter opened but this was not an issue at all because nobody was queuing and so we were able to get the tickets in less than a minute. Regrettably we got the "bad" surprise that the water park, an area of Zoomarine with a big pool and three water slides, was still closed that day however it was fully compensated by the great price of the tickets. In fact, using a couple of coupons easy to find once in Rome, I bought two adult tickets at half price, basically buy one free one, and got discount on the child ticket too, paying only Euro 44 for all of us instead of Euro 74! Once inside, we first went to watch the shows with (1) birds of pray, (2) pinnipeds, (3) dolphins and (4) parrots, all very enjoyable and also educational even though, a pity for the foreigners, only in Italian language. Then we tried some of the attractions of the fun park, like a decent rollercoaster which was not the best I ever tried but at least one of the few where my "still short" kid was allowed a ride, being 122cm the minimum height requested, followed by lunch in one of the eateries inside Zoomarine, with priced and everything but delicious food. Finally we spent the rest of the afternoon at the swimming pool, where many kids and parents too were having great fun! Before leaving the park, around 4:30pm, we walked inside the "era dei dinosauri", literally the dinosaurs age, where it was possible to see the impressive 1:1 scale models of the T-Rex and other prehistoric animals. Zoomarine closing time was at 5pm, although for the rest of June will close at 6pm and then extended, during the summer, till 7pm.
It is great to spend the day with family or friends. Plenty of nice shows you wont get bored i loved the dolphins show it was fun. You have everything inside and it is affordable.and after seeing all the shows you have time to play or just relax at the pool.
We brought a 1 year old & 3 year old to Zoo Marine for the day. They really enjoyed it especially the shows. Facilities were very good, however bring enough soft drinks and bottles of water as they are expensive to buy there! Food was reasonable enough. It's a long day if you go by bus, but well worth it.
We went with my son aged 6 my partner and his parents , it did not disappoint , at first we went to watch a birds of pray presentation which was great , the birds fly over head and it's clear the training and care that goes in , also the guide offers a lot of educational info as he speaks which is in Portuguese and English , walking round the park there is a small funfair with a carousel , pirate ship , big wheel and train , throughout the park are palm trees and flowers , we also went to watch the dolphin attraction which was amazing , I like the fact the staff give eduction about conservation and Eco issues without being patronising , dotted about are drinks machines plus restaurants and gift shops , the price of the gift shop is good , couple of Euros here and there nothing to expensive , we didn't eat there as you can take your own Food in , lastly but least you must go see the wild bird show , the sharks in the aquarium and seal shows .. Plus the Americas garden where you can feed the birds for a euro .. I cannot carry on about all the good things there as my review would be a book A brill day out !
