musée georges turpin

Over 3 floors, this free museum has some artefacts from the old castles and buildings from Parthenay, some very pretty pottery, interactive models of the history of the town plus an exhibition section which changes from time to time (when we were there it was about the influence of World War One on the local area). As it's right by the old walls in the town, it's worth a visit!
