40分钟就可逛完全馆,以成人12欧的票价有点小贵,有第三个小孩可以半价。45分钟鸟类水族秀非常精彩!

Visited the show with a family of 3 - Not all together, but in 2 groups, one of us had to stay with our puppy dog that was not allowed in. The employee at the entrance was very friendly, helpfull and fluent in English language. The show was intresting, although not all birds did want to do what the employees of the aquashow wanted them to do, but that also made it funny. We saw a peregrine falcon, a fish-eagle, na herron, cormorants.

It was one of those days in Brittany where the rain seems not only to fall in sheets but to hang in the air and pervade and saturate everything.Travelling around, I had seen a lot of publicity for a number of aquaria and the most exciting posters and best reviews appeared to be for Aquashow, way out West in Audierne. Since there was nothing to be done with such an appalling day, the long drive from the Lorient area seemed as good a use of my time as any and at least part of the attraction is indoors, so I gave it a go.Before I go any further I should point out that the weather was so poor as to preclude the possibility of the bird show, so I can only comment on the aquarium itself. This may seem unfair but I should point out that I have upped my rating from 'poor' to average in order to give the bird show the benefit of the doubt and assume it's the highlight of the visit. The aquarium is clean. The fish look healthy. It's well presented. But, compared to other aquaria I've visited, it's limited in scale and has no particularly outstanding features. None of the displays had me gaping with awe or standing mesmerised as they have at Nausicaa at Boulogne sur Mer, for example. It is a not a bad aquarium but is average at the very best which is somewhat at odds with the hype and the entrance fee.If you were staying near Audierne, this would be mildly disappointing but the town is in the extreme West of Brittany and, when you consider the size of the peninsula and how far many people will have driven, enticed by the striking roadside posters, it is a bit more of a let down.In summary, visit if you're staying nearby but don't expect anything out of the ordinary in terms of the aquarium itself.

So, we were staying in Southern Brittany with friends and spotted a very rainy Monday coming up. What should we do? Certainly not sit in the caravan and be miserable all day so a quick bit of internet research and it was decided we'd visit here for the day.We arrived at 10am as they were opening, great decision as it got busy later on. The man in charge sold us our tickets and explained the freshwater display first then the birds of prey outdoors where there would be a display at 11:45 and then back indoors for the seawater display. The freshwater display was good, the tanks all looked clean and were mainly described in French and English which made things easier. Outside we saw the birds in their cages, they looked happy enough and again, descriptions of their wingspan, gestation periods, life expectancy, where they could be found, their diets and what was killing them off was all clearly displayed. We had a quick look at the show area for the display which we would look to come back to later on.Back inside and through the seawater display. This was also very good and a lot more interesting than others we have seen, the environment was good, clear descriptions and interesting to watch. There was also a tactile tank where you could hold startfish and the like which the kids seemed to enjoy. At this point, the bird show was about to start and I went out to have a look, the rain got heavier so it was back indoors for me. After the seawater fish tanks, there was a large cylidnrical tank full of jelly fish lit in UV which looked spectacular and also a lab where they were growing their own plankton and hatching bby fish, all quite interesting. We also watched a 5 min film about two photographers who had filmed from a helicopter round a load of the local lighthouses in rough seas. This really was quite good and at least a change to sit in a comfy seat for a few minutes. After a final, huge tank we exited into the small retail shop and spotted a lovely little cafe to the left where we went in and sat down. We had all remarked that looking at all the lobsters and langoustines had made us feel hungry and so we decided to have lunch here. couple of us had Moules Frites and the others had chicken nuggets and all enjoyed what we had. We finished off with Crepes and coffees and then a dash to the car in the really heavy rain.We didn't manage to see the bord show, it takes place 3 times a day but it was really heavy rain whilst we were there but still, we thought the price was excellent value for money. The cafe was also great and worth a stay although it filled up very quickly after us and was then packed out. I saw many people looking but they jusy couldn't geta table. So, I would heartily reccommend this place, keep an eye out for the local Finistaire attractions cards around the local area, the one for here gives you a free child entry which we made use of. Get in early, as soon as it opens and you'll have a great time. When we left, it was pretty full so not quite as pleasant as having the whole place to yourselves. Also with the cafe, get in there as soon as it opens for lunch and have a leisurely time whilst others look on enviously.

We spent a very wet afternoon at the aqua show. We whiled away a good couple of hours or more walking through the aquarium before braving the elements to watch the birds of prey. Despite the down pour the birds put on a fantastic display - it didn't matter too much that the only commentary was in French, especially when we were far to enchanted by the bald eagle swooping just over our heads!Good value for money and a well run attraction.

We were staying nearby in Confort Meillars and wanted something local for the day. I'd read some trip advisor comments and was happy to visit. We were not disappointed at all. The staff were very helpful, approachable and friendly. English is spoken, although we did try our best at French and it was appreciated. The displays are excellent although not all have an English translation and this is maybe something management could progress. The bird display is excellent. Although the bald eagle decided to have his own aerial display and cleared off for a bit of a scoot around the estuary! Which made it all the more enjoyable. Lol. We had a great day. The little restaurant is super for lunch amd afternoon coffee and do a little two for one crepe deal. All in all. A great day out, we spent 4 hours there with a 12 and 15yr old. Prices are reasonable at €44 for a family. Adults are €12 and anyone over 12 is an adult. Children under 12 are €8. Some younger children,I think, are free. Give it a go if you are in the area or nearby. When you are finished walk into Audierne. A beautiful little fishing port with marina and an abundance of restaurants, shops and cafes.

This brilliant little aquarium really surprised us. Everyone had told us that we had to go to Oceanopolis, but we didn't want to drive that far that day, so we tried this one instead. It fist 44 euros for 5 of us, which I thought was really good value for money. It is a small aquarium and only contains species found around the waters of Brittany, but it is still fascinating. The tanks are spotlessly clean and all the fish looked healthy and well cared for. The information is in French with a little English translation too. Some of the sealife on display are truly amazing. My girls loved the sea horse tanks. There are also touch tanks, where the children got to touch Rays and hold star fish.Outside there are lots of exhibits with birds of prey and they put on a display throughout the day. Although the commentary is in French, it really doesn't matter if you can't quite keep up. With the combination of hand gestures and demonstrations you will get most of what they are explaining. The best part is when they free fly the birds over the audiences heads. It is thrilling to have an enormous bald eagle soar just inches above you.The children were all asked to hold out their hands and a beautiful little egret went through the audience landing on the outstretched hands, all the children were delighted. This really is a fun little place to spend a couple of hours and you can end the day with an ice cream overlooking the harbour at one of the many little cafés in pretty Audierene .

We saw the review and decided to go. The place was very quiet as the season hadn't started. the was only one other couple with a child at the bird display. Where else could you to see a bald eagle flying past you?

A good aquarium with informative information next to the exhibits. A great bird show but be aware the birds can land on you. Commentary in French, they sometimes use English. A shame they have a seagull in a cage and sell stuffed seagull toys in the gift shop, not my cup of tea at all as they are a nuisance in Devon. The touch pool is very good and kids love it. Cafe sells nice hot drinks.

We found L'Aquashow amongst a pile of leaflets in the campsite information office, and having been to Oceanopolis the year before thought it worth a look. It's a much smaller outfit than that, but actually just as interesting. The aquatic displays are well presented, and have good information accompanying them. The area where you can handle starfish and suchlike really interested our girls, as did the huge tank (and unlike other visitors we had no trouble with the steps) which captivated them for a long time. However, the out and out star attraction was the bird display. Not just one or two birds, but eight different species, all given a very thorough introduction and display. The staff obviously have great appreciation for their performers, and demonstrated them beautifully. Our girls, 6 and 3, were fascinated, and really loved seeing the Owls particularly. The Falcons, Kite and Eagle were spectacular, and we were all highly amused by the Egret, Heron and Cormorants. We have nothing but good things to say about this place, and it's worth a visit.

A fantastic attraction located in the town of Audierne. Well run, clean, friendly with lots to see in both the indoor and outdoor sections of the attraction. Highlight of the visit was the Bird of Prey show, although spoken all in french and we didnt understand a lot of it, it was absolutely facinating, it had our 6 and 4 year olds enthralled (along with Mum & Dad!!). The receptionist was keen to point out we could come and go once we had paid, so as we had a little wait between shows and took the opportunity to eat in the town centre and have a leisurely stroll in the sunshine. A must see attraction if in our around Audierne

We went to this "show" not knowing what to expect - and we were amazed! What a beautiful, educational, well done presentation of birds of prey - most native to the region. The audience has a chance to get up-close and personal with handsome & majestic birds - all with different personalities - as Stephane - the host of the show - so cheerily explains. With a sense of humor and down to earth presentation you can tell the staff including Carine - a falconier - really care about these animals. Let me be clear - this is not a zoo for birds - they can and actually sometimes do fly away during a presentation -only to come back to their handlers. The native river and ocean fish tanks are also interesting & educational. Overall a fantastic experience - BRAVO!

Reading the history of this place made our visit even more enjoyable. You can tell that the staff love what they do and that makes a big difference. Located in stunning harbour village, the fish are great and the bird display was wonderful. Really worth a visit - whatever your age.
