公园很大,花儿漂亮,坐公车就到, 不用门票, 最可惜是皇宫正在装修, 有咖啡室, 有无线上网. 很好.我们在这里拍照, 吃午餐, 还在公园的长椅上小睡片刻,非常写意.
I spent 2 months in Tallinn last year and I still remember Kadriorg as really nice, quiet, romantic place where I loved to be. It's beautiful during winter when it's under the snow, like a sleeping beauty. You can come close to presidents residence, cottage of Peter the great and if you follow the longest lane you'll end up at the beach where monument to the sunken Russian passenger ship is located. Also the Art museum is very close. I discovered it and I had to show it to friend a.s.a.p. You'll enjoy it.
Very nice Park, which surely would be more attractive during the Summer rather than the winter time. We recommed visiting the Villa of Peter the Great, which has very nice alternating art exhibits.
Art Museum was much better than expected. Have seen many summer palaces but the peter the great was one of the best. great hall awesome. Very nice artwork. i am sure park itself is beautiful in better weather.
Being able to walk with your partner completely snowed by Kadriorg Park is a luxury and the best gift for a wedding anniversary.
Thanks to the Russian Czar Peter the Great, this park is open to the public. Once, when he visited the palace that he build for Catherine I, he noted that the park was guarded and when he asked why, he got the answer "it is your park". After he heard that he commanded that as from that very moment the park should be opened to the public and so it is until now! The baroque palace is a must to visit as well as the KUMU museum. In the summer time there are orchesters playing on the small island in the pond and swans will slide devoutly to the music under the stars. A beautiful and romantic place. Not only for lovers!
We have been lucky enough to visit Kadriorg Park in every season, whenever we do we notice there are always workmen working to improve and maintain it. You see so many locals walking and appreciating this huge open space. I always get amazed at how many people are out with prams or just walking chatting away to each other. Today I stood holding peanuts in my hand for the birds to come and take them. That is magical!
The gardens were still beautiful in late August. It was also interesting to view the home of Estonia's president right behind the garden.
Beautiful park to visit, nice nature and a lot of things to make photo of.Its really close to the city center and to the beach aswell.
a Well maintained and Well withing the reach park. Its pretty much in the center of the town (10-15 minutes by tram).
Take a review of it in summer time. Or when it`s snowing, terrific place with outstanding look. Recommended for chill-out.
Park is out of city and very nice especially on summer. Very green and could see as well President house, there is as well children playground
Kadriorg Park is approximately 2 km from Old Town and well worth the visit. We walked there and found it to be a very pleasant walk. There are several palaces and other historical buildings to see and the park is quite large and lovely, even in December. Make sure to stop by KUMU, a stunning museum that is a must see!
I went for a bike ride around the park, which was a great experience, impressive buildings with a tranquil feel to it.
Some Tallinn sightseeing bus tours drive through the beautiful Kadriorg Park without even stopping. Although the commentary is very informative about Peter the Great, it is nice to be able to get out and explore. The park is criss crossed with avenues of trees. In the middle you find the baroque Kadriorg Palace, built in 1718 for Peter the Great. Today it is an art museum. Opposite this is the Presidential Palace, off limits to the public but you can get close enough to see the guards. Elsewhere in the park there is a tiny cottage where Peter the Great stayed while the palace was being built. One of the nicest parts of the park is the lake with gazebo in the middle. If you have children there are often pony rides on offer around the lake.
