The Parsenn Railway is very often crowded but takes you quickly into the ski area. I prefer to skip the second half and use the chairlift. Once on the top of the fast chairlift the whole area is at one's feet (or skis) and all degrees of difficulty are there. If there is enough snow the long runs to Klosters, Saas and Kublis keep one busy for quite some time.

There's so much great pistes on Parsenn, it's hugh!!! Hard to drive all in a day :-) really great!!!

The resort is wide, but I expected more modern installations. The way up from Davos goes only thru a tiny cable train that is over busy.I have been skiing in a lot of place but I have never see such scenes of lot of people all packed to wait, without an organization, no line, totally messy pushing each other's. Rich skiers are pigs and there was almost nobody from the installation there except the cashiers.Hopefully once this bad time passed, the resort is wide, with lot of space between the slopes to have fun. Many different orientation allow you to experiment different kind of snow & panorama :) Good for beginners and average skiers. Some room for free ride too.Restaurants are pricey and service is slow...Après-ski is non-existant...

Having visited many other top European ski destinations this area disappointed with an uninspiring lift system and poor service and high prices in the restaurants. The best snow is on the north side of the area and only one very slow gondol services this side of the mountain. The lift takes 30 minutes and longer if you have to queue to get on it. The best skiing is down to Klosters either off piste or on the one available prepared piste, but sadly there is only a double cable car which again means long waits and the usual crammed like cattle experience. Service in the mountain restaurants was shockingly poor. In fact I had to keep reminding myself I was in in fact in a so called modern ski area in Europe. Finally the entire area has now become so expensive and generally overpriced that it is a mystery why anyone would choose to ski here and not in an Austrian or French resort. One bright spot was the service and locker facilities at Bardill Sports besides the Gotschna cable car. The staff displayed true customer service and actually went out of they way to help out. Sadly that attitude was lacking elsewhere in the resort. So if you do go there rent your skis from Bardill Sports and self cater. Another minus is the complete lack of after ski atmosphere, but I guess that has to do with the prices. My alternative suggestion is go visit St Anton for a far better all round ski resort experience. St Anton is exactly the same distance from Zurich airport as Davos, so no reason not to really.

no crowds, great off piste availability, great lift system. The busses were frequent and ran on time.

Parsenn is legendary. Its red slopes are one of the best, even better than the black runs. If you choose to go black, go to nº7, it is the only great black slope. However, the red slopes are very interesting, as you can choose from many lines and if you want you can carve up lines that will make you ride faster than on the black slopes.

Dozens of different slopes of all difficulties with great restaurants everywhere. Fortunately as a Swiss I am not affected by the EUR/CHF trading at parity!

Great skiing area, good snow when many other resorts had little or none. Even a busy days people are spread over such a large area, that there is no crowding. Good mix of slopes.

This is the perfect ski resort with over 300km ski courses and 55 lifts! In this ski resort I started 20 years ago with skiing. And I visited this ski resort over 15 times. You have modern lifts and the area is very big with a lots of different kind of ski courses for different skill levels. My favorite course is no. 22 that goes complete down to the valley. If you start from the highst point (Weissfluhjoch 2665m) you can skiing down to the valley over 35min without useing any lift. Also In case of an emergency you have the best recue team and good doctors from germany there! But make sure before you go there that complete a abroad insurance because the prices for rescue are very expensive: 800€ to carry on a stretcher down to the ambulance 1200€ to carry you with an piste basher 3000€ to bring you down with an helicopter But you get a free choclate with the bill to your home address. ;-)

Great time with first time teenage skiers and snowboarders, not lots of snow as it is a late season, but plenty for all to learn on.

I've been skiing on Parsenn a few times over the years and can recommend it for different level of skiing. There are a variety of ski runs, at different levels, plenty of restaurants and connects to Klosters, Davos and Serneus, either via slopes or train. If you're like me, you stay away on skiing holidays and try to get there in between the high season weeks.

Came visit here thanks to complimentary Davos guest card which allowed me to use the Parsenn train facility going up to the mountain for free (only during summer).Clearly this is a great skiing area in winter and together the train and sky lift reached the altitude of 2817 meters.Even in summer at the top of the mountain the temperature dropped at 4 degrees celcius.

Beautiful forest runs to Klosters. I wasn't too pleased with Parsenn lift system, the main funicular lift from Dorf is very fast though. Lots of accesible off-piste fields. Great place for intermediates.

Very nice open slopes, could be better linked but otherwise good skiing area. The routes down towards Klosters through trees are very picturesque

This was my first time in Davos and I really enjoyed the slopes in Parsenn. The night before we arrived it had snowed and the snow was wonderful. The train to the top was great. Amazing views. The black slope going back down to Davos Dorf is challenging, and at the end there's not much space to stop safely.
