Never seen anything like this before, loads of different devils and folk history. One of the few places i really enjoyed in Kaunas and can recommend without hesitation.

Worth spending an hour here. We visited on a Wednesday when admission to visitors is free. The exhibits are somewhat quirky. The cafe below is very nice.

Museum full of devils: friendly, funny, scary. All they have names, stories and etc. It's not big museum, you'll spend half hour in it, entrance only few coins, so it's worth to put it in travel plan.

The Museum is 15 minutes waking distance from the main shopping street in Kaunas a bit out of the way It is not much to see and not really worth visiting.

went to Kaunas to visit this museum, liked it a lot worth visiting, especially with kids. 3 floors, large collection with an explanation and the artist's exhibition.

This is a good museum - well layer out, lots of stories in Lithuanian and English. It is mostly statues and masks of Devils from around the world and from across history.

We visited the museum in Halloween, and there was no atraction or decoration.... Some of collection was ok, but someting miss.

Fans of the occult and folklore may enjoy this vast collection of devil marks and carvings, the rest of us would probably prefer to spend the time wandering in the old city, pedestrian street, castle, town hall, liberation square or other city museums. The museum covers three floors with a collection mostly from the Baltics and Eastern Europe. The third floor has marks, carvings from around the world.

Devils are not my thing but I found it interesting that there were so many versions of this evil being.

Very interesting place. Great exhibits. I heard about this in the tour books and was intrigued. If you are in Kaunas go visit.

I was there during my Erasmus because I want to find out something particular in Kaunas and actualli I did! A little bit difficult to be appreciated by a "profane" but anyway I spent there at least two hours, and since it's not very big...I lost myself in understanding Belzebù!

It's a unique museum in Lithuania and I think even in Europe. You can see devil figures from almos all of the world. Alot of them were presents to the host, a famous Lithuanian artist Zmuidzinavicius, after his death the collection continued to enlarge. People who heard about the museum sent devil figures to it.

but a bit over the top on devil - a bit uneasy after a while. Without LT tour guide to translate would not have been as interesting.

What an interesting place. The museum is filled with sculptures, paintings, and all kinds of replicas of devils and other world creatures. Made for a fascinating visit. A must when visiting Kaunas

I was going to title this review, "Thank God, this place exists," but then I had my doubts about the appropriateness...In any event, I adore odd and quirky museums. I visited this little gem a number of years ago. Despite Lithuania suffering a massive heat wave that July, I had a blast (and, no, there is no a/c in the building!). As some have suggested, this is not the sort of place with high-tech displays. But it more than compensates by being utterly interesting and laser-beam focused on its mission to explore how the devil is depicted in world cultures. This was definitely the highlight of Kaunas for me.
