圣拍特里克教堂不管是外观还是里面都很值得一去。外观看明显的英式教堂,灰色色调,里面高耸,很精致,很大,有很多雕像和图片解说
Majestically standing tall. The history is so touching. The construction during the potato famine is so clearly visible
We were part of a pre-arranged visit during the week, a party of about 30, and were met by the Archbishop himself who, having greeted each one of with a handshake, led us in processional singing in and out of the cathedral and in a very short service of thanksgiving. As a non-catholic Christian it was a real delight.
Visited many lovely churches & cathedral in Europe including Rome, but St Patrick's is very special.
Very beautiful Cathedral. Amazing to know that St Patrick could have had something to do with this. Very nice little gift shop.
I came to Armagh for the first time this year to visit where my deceased father grew up. I know that he served as an altar boy at this extraordinary cathedral and when I attended Sunday Mass with the beautiful choir and organ, I got quite emotional. The mosaics are intricate and adorn every surface and don't forget to look out for the dead cardinals hats which are suspended from the roof around the altar in various stages of decay. Well worth a visit.
The cathedral is situated on a beautiful hill overlooking the whole of the city of Armagh. The views are exceptional. there are plenty of great restaurants to visit. Armagh is such a peaceful, relaxing place. I just love it there.
St Patrick's RC Cathedral is worth a visit for those who hwve never been. It makes me so proud that I am from Armagh where indeed we boast of 2 Cathedrals.
A beautiful service to inter my mother's ashes. The arrangements were perfect and the priest had gone to a lot of trouble to make the service as personal as possible.
This church is so lovely. We walked through the cemetery located beside it to see St. Patrick's tomb.
A beautiful old cathedral in the heart of Armagh. Our choir sang there as part of a tour, and we enjoyed being there and singing there.
Beautiful cathedral recently renovated. Magnificent alter and beautifully decorated. Very impressive and a definite place to visit.
Lovely decoration and take a few minutes to check out the roof decoration. Quiet place for contemplation
St. Patrick's Cathedral was the first Cathedral my family visited in Ireland. The exterior of the building is stunning. We parked across the street and walked up the hill and stairs to the church. Once inside, the architecture took our breath away. Beautiful Celtic knot mosaic floors, stained glass, etc. We were fortunate to visit on a day where there were very few visitors and I took some time to kneel and pray (which I recommend for all Christian faiths). There is no entry fee, but I would encourage you to consider leaving a pound or two as you exit the door. I would also encourage you to pick up any parish literature for your travels. It's a great way to "get in the mind" of the locals.
It was very easy to find St. Patricks, and was within walking distance of our hotel. Nice cathedral to visit, peaceful and quiet.
