Came here for lunch with some work colleagues and we weren't disappointed! Fantastic food, a lovely atmosphere, a bright and airy restaurant, this is definitely a place worth visiting. It was very busy - clearly very popular!

I took my son, as he is thinking about doing art for a GCSE. I usually go with friends, or on my own, and every time there is something new to see. There are knowledgeable staff who, if you are interested, will share information about the exhibits, but they are not intrusive, and they dont make you feel like you have to hurry. There is a lovely garden and a coffee shop, but I just go to look at the art. Its free, and its very interesting.

En route from Dublin to Derry via Belfast, you can swoop off the motorway to the sculpture garden and lovely Quill's restaurant, enjoy a very tasty lunch, view the gallery and sculptures and resume your journey straight away. I recommend the goat's cheese tart, though everything looked nice. Much better option for a traveller than motorway services!

Stopped off here for lunch. Lovely restayrant with waitress service- no queuing up for food. Very varied and tasty menu with food prepared fresh and presented beautifully. Unfortunately couldn't look round the sculpture garden due to snow and sleet but will visit again. Very easy to find just off A1 close to the Outlet Centre

'The Gallery' as it is affectionately known by the locals is an oasis of beauty just off the A1. The exhibitions are usually worth seeing but the magic of the Gallery is found in the sensuous architecture, the magnificent light, space and beauty imbued with the energy of McWilliam's sculptures.Enjoy a picnic in the garden contemplating the sculptures, potter around McWilliam's studio, or treat yourself to leisurely lunch at Quails.

The surroundings are stimulating. The gallery has a variety of exhibitions throughout the year and you can visit FE McWilliam's reconstructed workshop and enjoy the sculpture gardens. There is a small shop offering high quality handcrafted goods. The restaurant is called Quails at The Gallery and serves lovely food. We often eat on the terrace outside in the sunshine and it is so calm and relaxing. When the weather isn't good, we eat inside in the restaurant, which looks out over the gardens.Parking is generally good and there are good washroom facilities, including baby changing. There is also a good range of tourist brochures and information. Photos shown were taken in May 2014.

A place to stop and have coffee and lunch in a relaxed artistic environment. Exhibitions change on a regular basis and generally show contemporary work. The best you will find in Ireland.

Excellent cray fish salad, which was like a plate of art. The presentation and taste were superb. Will definitely return, great venue and sculptures are amazing.

A stylish centre, with good exhibitions and a great cafe. Super parking. Perhaps a more extensive lunch menu ( if you have travelled far cake and coffee may not suffice)

Good pit stop for those travelling North / South. Good food, children's play area, FE McWilliam studio and art work on free display (and often special art displays by artists). Last but not least it is 1 minute drive to the Banbridge Outlet Center with all its shops and low cost shopping.

Great gallery and grounds in general are amazing. Sorry this exhibition was not my cup of tea but am sure other will be.

This is an interesting place and worth a visit. Their scones are delicious and they certainly make a good cup of coffee. This place is clean, bright and inviting with easy parking.

What a lovely time we had once we found it, From Portadown side head all the way straight through Banbridge, About a mile from the town centre there's a roundabout. Take a left and it's a few metres on the right hand side. FE McWilliam was a very famous sculptor and rubbed shoulders with famous artists. He originated from Banbridge but spent a lot of his life in London. On his death he bequeathed his studio and some of his sculptures to the people of Banbridge. Thankfully the council had the foresight to house his wonderful gesture in a modern gallery surrounded by a small sculpture park, exhibition area, McWilliam's own studio and a first class, though small restaurant run by the Quail family who serve a limited but excellent menu. Want to go somewhere different? This will not disappoint.

Nicely located on the Belfast to Dublin main road. The art gallery is an obvious attraction and menu food is good, if not suitably varied.Service was acceptable, but not very enthusiatic.
