We attended a birthday party at Playbugs. Both my kids had a fab time. the staff were so friendly and the selection of food on offer was very good value for money. Even though it was busy nothing was too much trouble. Great family friendly environment. this place is a must if you have kids!!!

I've been here many times over the last 6 years and it still holds appeal to my two. I liked when they were younger and needed close supervision that I was allowed on the equipment with them. Some soft plays ban adults from entering, hopeless if you've a little one under say, 3. Now my boys are independent but I like that I can keep an eye on them from the seating area, this place isn't so vast you lose them. Friendly staff and huge coffees, always a good selection of magazines! The £2.50 entry before 11am is excellent value but even at full price, still well worth a visit.

I have been taking my grandson to Playbugs since he was about eight months old to get him used to being with other children. I have always found the staff wonderful and usually have lunch there as the food is freshly prepared and delicious. My grandson is now 4yrs old and still enjoys playing on the equipment with other children. I can't understand the negative reviews from others who have visited this excellent establishment!

My children love going to playbugs & I do too as unlike other facilities of this kind the food is lovely and reasonably priced. All fresh and a range of healthy options available. It is always to very clean standard and the staff are lovely and have a genuine interest in children. I am never disappointed in the service and visit on a regular basis.

I went along to Play Bugs for a friends child's birthday. I didn't know where I was going (followed a friend) however I didn't think it was greatly sign posted. It's in an industrial estate full of business units but where you find it there seemed to be plenty of parking spaces when we arrived (Saturday).Entrance is gated and you need to sign in and out, pretty standard.We grabbed a table and went to order 2 x coffees. They took over an hour to be served to us. We were not alone in this, all the tables around us were the same. Longer for food. I assume they were understaffed and could not keep up with demand?The kids played in the soft play area and looked to be having fun. They were served food (sandwiches and ice cream) in the dedicated party area where they also played a few games. This is quite small but could be really good. As its adults who make the decision on where to take kids and have parties, they should up the service a bit in serving the adults otherwise they might lose custom.Toilets were fine and equipped for kids of all heights

A regular haunt for my 2 kids and have held a couple of birthday parties here as well. Safe, clean, fun and reasonably priced. 10 out of 10!

Had to wait 20+ mins for admittance - were not permitted entry as a "table" wasn't available. - seemed to be approx. 20 tables seating 4-6. - this is a first for us.... appreciate might be busy but if mandatory to wait beside toilets/entrance - might be better to make clear on web site of this possibility. Would strongly recommend phoning to ensure admittance/availability (for us was a 50min round trip) - & if table can be booked.Found hygine was not to level anywhere acceptable - including large amount of food waste on floor/surfaces. Again perhaps related to how busy they were - this was a Sunday early Feb '14 - but find it unacceptable to be selling more food - if staff haven't time to have a quick clean from previous patrons. it should not be a surprise that children can make a mess when eating meals. ( would think most parents should contribute to clean up - but not all do )Baby area was not available for use, seemed to have morphed into a private area for a party - or the worst baby area have ever been to. - either way the website is misleading.I always find it of some concern where there seems to be NO staff to give even a small level of supervision to children. Did have signs up saying parents responsible for own children - but really felt there was complete chaos - various areas should be used by different age groups - espc for safety concerns & enforced by proprietors. Over all a disappointing experience on a positive note - great area - parking was fine - has potential & entry price is also reasonable ( least would be if the above issues were resolved ).
