Great half term Stuntfest, kids sooooooo excited. A truly unique day out getting to ride in monster trucks and squash cars. If your kids and/or husband are petrol heads this is the day out for you. Lots to do but it's expensive when you get In there, take a packed lunch. It's also out in the open so wrap up warm. One of the best family days out we had in ages.
you will never forget this thrill! noisy, brash but once in a lifetime rush! this is for all ages you never know you might become really hooked. all ages of people go and some have been going for over 40years so it must have something.
Great site and facilities. Brilliant location to watch motor sport. I have attended regularly for years, Main Event, Dragstalgia and Euro Finals, all brilliant. On site camping and catering are easy, comfortable and reasonably priced.
had the best day ever here great place loads to see and doo gift shops is a no go area as everything is way to expensive the toilets were vile but thats due to others i would recommend a day here i went as a birthday present and couldnt of asked for anything better
Visited for flames and thunder was a great day with plenty to see and do. Hopefully we will be able to attend more next year
Santa Pod is a great venue with lots going on. Great for motor enthusiasts and kids, who always love cars. In the winter it is very cold due to it being very open and exposed to the elements, so make sure you wrap up warm in the winter. There are different events going on almost every weekend from bug jams to monster trucks, with plenty of entertainment for people of all ages. It is fairly priced too.
Took my 14 yr old son to the Flame and Thunder show, it was our first time at Santa Pod and what a day to remember, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left the whole day was packed full of things to see and do, we loved everything about the whole day to much to list here so for full list of what was here visit the Santa Pod website. we paid extra for a few things £10 for drifting ride, £7.50 for a monster truck ride and £5 to see the wheel of death show, very reasonable prices for all these as well as a very reasonable entry price (under 16 free) we travelled 100 miles to do this and it was really worth the day out, very well organised.
we went to the flame and thunder show and it was brilliant lasted all day from 8.00am till 8.00pm just one thing take your own food and drink
Took my teenage daughter to flame and thunder event. It was her first time at santapod, she was absolutely amazed with all different stunt shows, drag racing and the monster trucks now she can't wait until they reopen next year all in all a fantastic day.
Went to Flame and Thunder, a great day for everyone. Loads to watch and reasonably priced entry. Easy to find and parking great
I visited here for Flame & Thunder season Finale. I was there with friends and our children. I've not been before but it was a great day out. My little boy loved the monster trucks, I think these displays were too short, the kids got a bit bored in-between events. All of the kids took to rolling down the hills and although very muddy they had an amazing time.
So you're into your cars and bikes. What better way than to fire it up the quarter mile. Good times are guaranteed, meet some nice people, eat some hotdogs and watch some nice machinery all at once. Only petrolheads need this place in their life. It's addictive, and you can take the smell home with you.... Brilliant day or many days await....
£180 a lot of money for silver package for half day drifting. Spent 1 hour and half waiting between first go, and second. Three goes in total, each a bout 6 minutes. Best bit was rides long for a tenner.
My husband finally got to use the gift voucher that I bought him last Christmas. I purchased the Silver drift experience which cost £199. However there was no difference between the silver and the bronze, so paying extra for that that was a waste of money! Then they ask for a tenner to lower your insurance excess; you're learning to throw a car around an arena, at £199 that should all be included! My husband loved it, but he didn't know how much it cost and as he only had three sessions which each lasted about 7 minutes I don't feel it was value for money. It was badly organised, there were no refreshments, the cafe is up the other end of the track. Oh yeah, and for the privilege of buying the experience in the first place and standing in the cold for 3 hours I had to pay £10 to spectate, again one spectator should be included. As much as hubby loved it, and I will treat him to another experience but there is no way it will be at Santa Pod. Also they said there would be photos available, but guess what, nothing.
