We like historic houses and enjoyed this one in particular. The tour was very good and the house with it's contents very interesting. There was also a marquee set up on the lawn the day we went, with some countryside crafts being demonstrated. Our children liked the bees best!Nat. Trust properties can be a little cold with their welcome. This house was not one of theirs and it definitely altogether a 'nicer' experience.

Fascinating tour of the house, beautiful gardens full of colour, nice cafe and a lovely shop. Well worth a visit!

Great place for a wedding reception. Lovely gardens. You can use the house, if it's raining and it's stunning - every bit. You just can visit, have afternoon tea, have ice cream and walk through the lovely gardens.

This is a beautiful old Manor House and has fabulous grounds. It is well worth the visit for afternoon tea and a stroll around the grounds.

Met some friends for tea at the coffee shop. Loseley House looks magnificent. We did not have time to explore the house but we did spend some time in the beautiful gardens. Walking around these spectacular gardens is a worthwhile pastime before tea. The tea shop is well-staffed and dispenses delicious cakes - I had carrot cake! - but plenty of choice. The cake was delicious. We took it through to the gardens and enjoyed sitting and chatting in the most splendid environment. The weather was kind - as usual.

I visited the house and gardens today with my wife. We took a packed lunch which we ate in the picnic area adjacent to the car park. We took a tour of the house at 2pm which last one hour. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the history of the house and the family who own the house. The gardens were lovely today and we had afternoon tea outside on the lawn.

The service was excellent and the French waiter was hilarious. Wish I'd had our wedding there!!!Thank you for a wonderful day.

Loseley House has many centuries of history, connected through to the present inhabiting owners. The guide really made us feel this was still a family house, and she had fascinating stories to tell. Being in rooms which have seen royalty back to QE1 is quite spell-binding, although whether we would like the responsibility of upholding so much history is another question! The gardens were a delight, especially the white garden, and the camera shutter was given a good workout. Tea was lovely too, taken in the garden outside, and of a good standard. We would certainly take other people to this attraction; it was our highlight of the week.

We were engrossed with the family friend, who personally escorted us around this fine house. The tour was awash with personal detail, and it was apparent the family were still in residence. This is the home of Loseley Ice Cream, which was originally made to supplement the income required to run this stately home

This really is worth a visit. It has been lovingly cared for by the family and the gardens are enchanting. We were the only two on the guided tour of the house, which was great as it felt like a private tour just for us. We were shown round by a lovely gentleman called Hugh, who was extremely kind and very informative. I think it really makes a big difference when the staff are passionate and have a love of what they do. We were very fortunate and it made the visit extra special. Thankyou Hugh!

Being a member of the Historic House Association I am fortunate enough to get in free, but I would still pay to see this architectural gem and delightful garden. The house is lovely and you are guided round the house viewing the Great Hall and other interesting rooms, upstairs and down. The guide was very knowledgeable, making the tour an enjoyable 45 minutes.(I maybe would have liked to see more rooms if that is possible, and a little less information regarding the paintings as nearly every painting was described!) Outside though, the walled garden was immaculate, and so relaxing to walk round, and there are many benches to rest upon and take in the beautiful shrubs and flowers. The cafe is simple and does not offer much variety in the way of food, but when you do get a drink and a slice of cake, don't sit in the small forecourt but head pass the pay kiosk, through the wall and take a seat in the lovely garden, much more relaxing! On, and don't forget to buy a tub of Loseley ice cream from the shop - it's not made on site anymore, indeed the cows now reside in Wales, but the 'Eton Mess', 'Treacle Toffee', and 'Honey and Stem Ginger' were all very scrummy.

I was here for a private dinner, when we had a talk from the owner (it has been in the same family - More-Molyneux - since it was built in the mid-sixteenth century) followed by dinner in the Hall. It's not 'baronial' in its proportions, but if you like old houses, interesting architecture, and you want to get away from the National Trust way of doing things, then Losely is most definitely worth a visit!

I visited Loseley Park & House yesterday with a friend. I wasn’t sure what to expect, however the grounds and house is beautiful! We paid £9 each for access to the house, grounds and gardens. You can pay £5 for access to the gardens and grounds but I’m not sure why anyone would not want to visit the house for a few more pounds. Access to the house is via a guided tour for an hour: The tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the house. You could easily see she enjoyed her job!. The gardens are beautifully kept with an array of flowers, fruit and vegetables. I would recommend this to adults as I think children may find this boring. I saw no children on our day out here.We had lunch in the café which was over prices - £2 for a bottle of coke and £5 for a sandwich. Be wary of the excessive amount of wasps that gather near the café. We choose to sit inside as there were so many. On the plus side the car park is free and you can spend as little or a long walking and exploring the grounds as you wish. A beautiful day out in this picturesque manor. Go its truly wonderful and charming.
