We visited the King's College Chapel as part of a walking tour. There is an admission fee to visit but it is definitely worth the money. Amazing building!

Very impressive and beautiful chapel but simply not value for money. Entrance is 8£ and with that you can walk part of the grounds (but a lot still a lot is restricted). Disagree that places of worship should have an entrance fee.

The Chapel is beautiful and well worth a visit - beautiful carvings and stained glass. We were fortunate enough to hear the organ being played while we were there, which added to the atmosphere. If you are in Cambridge, don't miss this building.

After years of listening to Carols from Kings at Christmas. Finally a chance to see the real thing. We went to evensong and we were not disappointed. The TV pictures did not do justice to the interior of the Chapel. Truly magnificent.

The best way to appreciate this famous chapel is when it's in use - at evensong, for example, when the exquisite singing complements the grandeur of the architecture. Services generally start at 5.30pm, but it's best to be at the chapel door fifteen minutes earlier to ensure a place close to the choir. It's an unforgettable experience.

Loved the Chapel especially the ceiling and acoustics; adored the singing.Coped with the religiosity....barely!

I enjoyed evensong again, but made the mistake of sitting too close to the choir and only heard the bass and treble lines. Make sure you keep your distance for a more balanced sound. Richard Lloyd Morgan, leading the responses, was in fine voice.

Hi, first at all please do expect to pay £8 for adult ticket, which is a bit dear to be hones, however chapel is absolutely lovely and you can even take pictures with you camera ( no flash though). There are some exhibitions on the left hand side which are quite cool. I really enjoyed visiting this place. The only thing which is not so great is lack of toilets and changing facilities for kids.

The chapel is one of the highlights of a visit to Cambridge University. You may actually feel you are in a familiar place, as the Christmas concert by the King's Chapel Singers is broadcast annually on the BBC, CBC and PBS. The fan ceiling is the largest in the UK and among the largest in the world and the stained glass windows are stunning (especially if the English sun is shining.)

As soon as you walk into this wonderful building your breath is just taken away by the sheer splendour and size. We were lucky enough to visit when the choir was singing, a real goosebump moment!

Can't believe how many locals have never been inside. I'm not a great fan of buildings but it is a must see building. A fee is payable.

You have to queue for hours for Chistmas Morning service, they said. Well, 1 hour to ensure you were the right side of the rood screen. It's the King James service so may not be to everyone's taste, and it's 80 minutes long. But for atmosphere, music and above all meaning, you cannot beat it. A recommended life experience.

Highly recommend evensong during the week. Each night at 5:30 - get there about 5:15 to be at front of queue. Its FREE ! They light the chapel with just candlelight and the full choir will mesmorise you with their song and prayer. incredible experience in a superb venue.
