I would to take this opportunity to thank everyone in Sherrys for making my stay there so enjoyable Kevin and Judith are a lovely couple and you will be made so welcome by the very modest charming Kerry barman Colin, my regard's to all the locals (to many to mention) not forgetting John the joiner Carol and Linda and my Roscommon friend Francy will see you all soon in the Alps at moment.

Great wee Irish bar we found at the start of our holiday. Thank you Colin for the laughs and entertainment each night. A great find and a bar everyone should pay a visit too. Lookin forward to going back in October.

Great wee bar , Irish bar, own by Armagh man with an Irish man behind the bar. A bit of a rare thing usually a local with pedgion English in an Irish themed bar lol.Call in for a bit of craic you won't be disappointed.Kevin and Connor might see youse again later this year

By day a family friendly bar where everyone is made welcome and by night the place to be for the craic or a spontaneous session, with traditional music. We visited Sherry's bar frequently when we stayed in Albufeira. The bar is located just of the main square. Kevin, Judith and Colin were very accommodating advising us on local attractions, restaurants and provided our kids (4&7) with various board games etc allowing us to sit back and relax. If your are visiting Albufeira this place is a must for you to stop.

Just spent three weeks in Albufeira and spent several great nights in Sherry's bar. Owners Judith and Kevin are very, very welcoming and have the best barman in the town - Colin from Tralee. He makes everyone's evening with a great blend of banter and friendly chat, makes everyone feel well at home! Great range of drinks at reasonable prices. There must be four or five Irish bars in the town but this is the one to visit, you will not be disappointed and we will definitely be back. At the time of writing, Sherry's Bar has a full house of 5 stars which must tell you something!

When in the old town, this is a must to go to, pop in and say hello to Kevin and Judith, for a very warm welcome in an oh so friendly bar. Absolutely perfect.

My partner & I have just returned after two great weeks in The Algarve , Kevin , Judith & Colin are all wonderful & so friendly & make you feel so very welcome.We sat outside on a few occasions in the evening & there is a fab heater to keep you toasty on the cooler nights & lovely fleecy blankets to you warm. We loved it & missing it already.The locals are all great too , it's a marvellous bar & a smashing place to be.

Visited Sherry's for the first time a couple of days ago. We were immediately greeted by Colin and made to feel more like regulars rather than first timers. The conversations seemed to include all those in the bar thanks to Colin's natural ability to engage everyone in conversation and humour-filled banter. In addition, the drink prices are reasonable. We returned in the afternoon yesterday and discovered it does not open until later in the afternoon (may be due to the time of year). We will definitely be returning to enjoy the great atmosphere and warm welcome. From our experience so far, Sherry's deserves the constantly high ratings. If that changes, we'll let you know.

By far the best bar in Albufeira! Met Kevin and Colin who were great, both had time to come over and chat to me and my partner, we felt like friends rather than customers! Made us feel very welcome, and us being Welsh, we love the Irish so they had the same sense of humour as us which was great! Hope your time over Portugal is a great one many thanks both :)

Everyone should visit sherry's bar great hosts Kevin & Judith. Colin the barman is brilliant. Friendly atmosphere and we were made so welcome good nights had by all so thank you kevin & judith. We will definetley be returning on our next visit to Albufeira. One word of warning if you should come across Judith playing pool at the Havana another great bar don't play her she cheats lol. Spent a couple of nights in here over xmas. Fantastic hosts ,friendly locals,nice and warm .Highly recommended as one of best bars in towm

We had an amazing time at Sherry's bar.The entertainment was great and the staff were very friendly.Its a great atmosphere and will be going back.

I had such a great time at Sherry's bar, the owners Kevin and Judith, are such great hosts, the beer is cold and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Kevin will keep you entertained with is card tricks, that would keep Dynamo guessing.. and Judith loves to challenge you on a general knowledge quiz, what a lovely couple... ;)
