jeffrey's sports bar and grill

used to stop by here and play golf on the machine from time to time but got sent out of town for awhile. I'm back and will visit real soon

Went here because we came as a group to celebrate a weekend at the race track close by. The facility is definitely lives up to the name of sports bar. Open area in the center, some booths around the edges, tv's everywhere and a bar to the right. First impression - the staff was very friendly when they greeted us. Very amiable considering we were a rather large group (20). We all sat down and they have a very nice beer selection. This was obviously a win in my books.The group as a whole ordered a bunch of appetizers and when we ordered our main meals, myself and the guy next to me ordered 16oz steaks. The only reason I give this place a 3 is b/c the food quality when it all came out - very not up to par. My medium-rare steak came out over cooked and rather dry. My buddies steak seriously tasted like a salt-lick. It was basically a tad of meat with a heaping of salt - barely palatable. When I asked everyone else about their food, they all agreed - it's just food. If I were a local, I'd highly suggest going other places as there are a bunch of other places available to the area (within driving reason).

After a long day at work we went to Jeffrey's for dinner. Good selection and good service. Food was okay. Enjoyed the time there together. Nothing romantic for couples. Saved me from cooking!
