Great course for the cost. Club house was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Even though the greens had been recently aerated they had recovered and putted consistently.
We have played several times at Elephant Rocks Golf Course in Williams. Just in case you toss a camera into your bag, be ready to grab it when the deer, squirrels and birds come to see what you're all about. It's a drop-dead track and you'll LOVE IT!
We have been playing at Eleohant Rocks for many years and it is still one of our favorites. It offers a variety of terrain and can be quite challenging if you don't get off the tee box into the fairway. Greens are nice and consistent and can be quite fast. Finishing holes (16-18) are so beautiful you forget how hard they are! Must try.
Outstanding greens with beautiful scenery.16th, 17th and 18th holes provide a great finishing trio..Just a couple of miles from downtown Williams and Route 66.
I was pleasantly surprised with my round at elephant rock. Course was in great shape. Greens very nice. Scenery was amazing. Greens fees for this gem are a steal. I've paid a lot more for less quality. Will definitely play again next time I'm in the area.
We found the course quite open with challenging greens and nice scenery. We couldn't beat the price at $80 including power cart.
A great golf course for the average as well as the more experienced golfer. Beautiful scenery, course was in very nice shape.
Shouldn't tell everyone but this is a wonderful course. Cool pines, wide fairways, and occasional Elk running out of woods. What could be better. Challenging course. New manager has added much needed hot food in the clubhouse. I am not very good golfer but it keeps calling me to come back.!
Great golf course. Winds you thru the forest with a variety of challenging holes. The 18th is a great finishing hole
Great course that my friends and I try to play a couple of times a year. The scenery is fantastic and the course is very challenging. The club house is very nice and the food was very good.
This is a beautiful course. The views are great. Just a quick trip from town. The course is not overly long.
You have to play this course! The first 5 holes are mountain/parkland golf, then 9 holes of link/parkland, then back over the mountain for a spectacular finish. The restaurant in the club house is dandy. Rangers seemed a little grouchy when we were there unfortunately.
A pleasant drive anytime! The historic Malpais Stone clubhouse is small, yet a great place to catch a playoff and cheeseburger after 18 holes. One of the most senic first tees I have ever had the pleasure of cranking one out there on!! There is no break at 9, you play 18 straight thru. Lots of long par 4s and some 5s you can smoke it off the tee! A couple of 3s over water that still give me the fits! Plenty of Elk, Deer, Bald Eagles, and a Bear once in a while too! My favorite course in northern AZ. It can be a little buggy in the early spring, so bring the bug spray. Other than that, this is one of the most unpretentious golf courses I have played. No attitude, No hassle, respect the course etiquette, hit long and have fun!
We decided on going golfing during a weekend trip to flagstaff and this was by far the best deal in the area. We got a Good deal for starting the course after 2 o'clock. I am not a golfer in any sense of the word but it still was tons of fun. There are some pretty hard holes but it made it interesting for us. The views were stunning and we even got to see about 20 deer right on the golf course as we were finishing. I would recommend this course to anyone. The people there are also very friendly an helpful!!! We will be coming back soon.
Best golf for the money in Northern Arizona. great views, very well maintained fairways and greens walk or ride you will enjoy.
