mound city national cemetery

This cemetery is a very old cemetery and has many soldiers buried there from back in the North/South War. Both were buried there. A lot of unknown soldiers are there. Many from WWI and WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq. There is a History room that has many neat things to look at and would be a very educational trip for children. Always someone there that can answer questions. You will be Very impressed if you visit.

We try to stop at all National Cemeteries we pass as we travel. This was small, but interesting. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys visiting National Cemeteries.
