Over. The last few years myself and a few of my friends have taken 12 hogs and 3 alligators from Chappys. We had great hunts and a lot of fun. In March of 2014 I took a trophy hog. I gave them a $250 deposit to have it mounted. In Jan. of 2015 I contacted them on the status of my mount. Was told the taxidermist has terminal cancer but would be making a trip to them to bring my mount. Have called numerous times and left messages but get no return calls.not a way to run a business.I guess this is the thanks I get for doing all the business with them. If they would rip me and other people off like this,what else will they do? I will not recommend them to anybody. Wonder if Brett knows about this. If any one does go hunting with them, I wish you could mention this to Brett.If my problem does get resolved I will post it. Does anyone know if they are still in business?

Hunted with Chappy's back in August of 2013. Bagged a great hog and left a $250 cash deposit to be mounted. Was told my hog mount would be ready April/May of 2014. With no phone calls, I contacted them in July. Left messages and still no answer. Finally in August Sherry called me back but seemed to have a hard time finding my paperwork. She then informed me the hog mount was finished but not in their posession. I informed her we would be coming back down the end of August and would love to hunt, view the mount and ship it home. While down in Florida we called several times to hunt, but never recieved a call back from Sherry. Both myself and my other half have been calling for weeks into now October 2014 with no call back. I have no idea where or if my mount is even completed.

Hunt with my son for the first time. It was great hunt, fun and interesting. Problem is my son shot a beautiful hog that we sent to mount. Bret took my $250 deposit and said it would take 6-8 months, after several calls to see how long it would take, sherry first said would take 6-8 months, then when the 8 month hit she started claiming 9-10 months. Now that am on my 10 months she says it was never said that it would take 9-10 months but 12-18 months. Which is a bull face lie. She her self has told me me 8-10. Now after several phone calls, emails and voice mails left they are ignoring me altogether. Shame that a good ranch for hunting has such liar manning their phones. Instead of Chappys should be called Crappys.

I was surprised with a hunt for Valentines Day, and my fiancé has used Chappy's in the past. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire excursion! From the drive out, on the swamp buggy, to the thrill of the hunt, even enjoyed tagging along for the dog hunt with another party. If you are looking for a great piece of private land to hunt off of, check them out. They offer all types of packages and are the BEST price in Florida. The guys even cleaned and skinned our hogs, and fast! Super thrilled I got to hunt with these guys and plan on bringing family and new hunters in the future!
