We enjoyed much of the museum. Some exhibits were not for us but we definitely enjoyed and would recommend
The two special shows were outstanding, but what we liked best were the permanent pieces, particularly the modern ones. The museum is not too big to really enjoy it all in one day. There are impressionists galore and the waterlily by Monet is unforgettable. Go!!
All three shows were excellent. I have been there before, but this was again, a fantastic experience.
We visited on a Thursday evening when several activities were included in the visit. There was a short tour, a ballet, wine tasting, music... It was all lovely. The museum is beautiful, the largest one in Florida and the exhibits are wonderful. There is a little bit of everything, just enough to hold your interest and something for everybody.Parking was easy, gift shop is nice and refreshments are available. I recommend this museum.
Whether it's a beautiful exhibit called High Tea, a whimsical collection of works by new artists, or a gorgeous exhibit of landscapes from the National Museum Wales, visitors to this lovely museum will be delighted and surprised at the variety of art to behold.Programs for school groups and gallery tours are available. Parking is in front of the building. The Museum's Cafe is fairly large with a varied menu and good service. Note that the tip is included in your bill. The Cafe is cold so be sure to bring a sweater.
been here twice, easy to get around and parking is decent in the area.Just saw the photography show, there is a room of chuily glass, gift shop, cafe the permanent exhibit has a little bit of everything.the nortons must have been interesting people!
Disliked nothing. Liked the permanent and current exhibit. Very lovely entertainment on Thursday evenings.
I was in South Florida to visit family and we saw that there was a photography exhibit (Conde Nast images) that was about to close. Thank goodness we made it just under the wire. The show was fantastic. 100 years of fashion + glamour + beauty imagery. It was really something to see the trends and how some of the shots were timeless- just as relevant now as 20, 30 40 years before. The museum itself is nicely laid out. I'd go back again in a heartbeat.
We are new to the area and wanted to visit all the places of interest in Broward and West Palm Beach County. Easy to find,..nice collection.....Near other places of interest and great restairants
I have gone here annually and never been disappointed with new exhibits each time. It is worth a visit if you have time when in Palm Beach County.. There is a lot to see in their permanent exhibit., but I start with visiting exhibitions first. Today adult admission was $$12 for adults, no senior discount. A lot to see,but I usually limit my stay to about two hours although you can spend a lot more time.
This museum is a delight. We were fortunate to catch Picasso's Muses before the exhibit closed. Also enjoyed The British Passion for Landscape. A Century of Photography was unexpected and fascinating. Great visit!
We just happened to stumble on this museum while we were looking for a couple of hours to kill before we headed to the airport. A very impressive art collection. Very nicely laid out.
First, this is one beautiful museum, worth repeated trips.. They have many pieces by the greats of the art world, gorgeous collection. Victoria and I make sure to visit at least once every year, always new exhibits and new work on display. This is as close to collections in New York, Boston, Cincinnati or Chicago that you will see in South Florida! Love this place..
Some nice work but not world class. The current Vogue photos are interesting. Worth a visit if you are in town.
I didn't expect this small museum to have so many pieces by the great masters. Was fortunate to also see Klara Kristalova's exhibit in stone and a century of fashion photography. A great few hours in a lovely, uncrowded museum.
