whole trip was very nice. All Seasons Resort is a nice place to stay, centally located to the attractions, Johns Pass & Boardwalk and all the shops are in walking distance, beach is clean
Even though it's been 20 years since I've been here, it's just a nice as I remember. Beautiful beach that doesn't feel crowded. Very clean.
Love this area, gorgeous beach! Fun shops and eating choices all around! We go there every time we go to FL
The previous day, we went to Clearwater Beach. We had a great time but boy was it crowded and expensive. A cabana and 2 chairs in Clearwater was $30 for 5 hours. The cabana & 2 lounge chairs in Madeira Beach was $15 for whole day. The view, sand & water were stunning and parking was much better though it filled up by lunchtime. I'd recommend getting there by 10 on a weekday and much earlier on the weekend. The fun John's pass is across the street! We walked and didn't have to find another parking spot. We plan to come here again and skip Clearwater next time we vacation!!
If you can find a condo or hotel on Madeira Beach you won't be disappointed. Wonderful beach, kept very clean. Lots of food, fun, and shopping, including John's Pass which is great in itself. Some wouldn't agree, but I believe this area has a little more of an adult flavour to it.
White sand, clean beach - Johns Pass across the street. This beach is a winner - centrally located between St Petes Beach and Clearwater beaches.
They take very good care of this beach the sand is very fine. Easy to find a cabana to rent for $25 just take one that is not reserved and a man comes around to collect money from you. My husband found the best shells here!
Beautifully kept gorgeous stretch of the Gulf coast you must see to believe. Love it here! Come every year with my family ...
Beach itself is beautiful white sand. You can access a small beach area right outside Hubbard's Marina. Parking is ample in a large garage directly across the street.
It is safe - clean -beautiful - and freindly. Great place to watch the birds and the dolphins- even Manatees! Not too crowded - close to Johns Pass but far enough away fromn the crowds
Captain Kellen Ankrum took myself and 3 buddies to 3 different spots ending up 30 miles offshore. Spot number one closer in was some fast and furious action on Snapper, Sheephead, Grunt and several other species. We didnt spend too long there, then headed offshore and caught a big Amberjack which we kept for supper. Also a couple of large Grouper which were out of season and released. Then we headed farther out and fished over a wreck and slammed the Amberjack releasing the smaller ones and keeping 4 large ones as we had 4 fishermen. Kellen did a great job of keeping us on fish in difficult conditions as the currents were moving and last nite was a full moon and he said the fish feed like crazy under a full moon. Our trip was taken the first week of March 2015. My number is 319 389 6669 Mobile. We paid $800 for 4 guys and a 6 hour trip but were out pretty much all day. Captain Kellen did a great job of filleting all the fish and watching him work was great.
My wife and I just fell in love with Madeira Beach and the surrounding area. There is sooooo much to do here that you really need to spend some time to even begin to see everything. The fishing is outstanding, the beaches are first class, and the restaurants range from the beach bars to the outstanding eateries. We love it so much we actually finally bought a place here so we can have the time to enjoy all that St. Petersburg has to offer.
Your on a beech, it's clean, it's sunny, what could possibly be wrong, unless of course you were attacked by a shark, but there are no sharks there, so it was great!
I loved the little town. Lots of stores, cafes and restaurants. Great fisherman's wharf or pier with pelicans posing for pictures.
Mad beach is a beautiful spot. White sand and lots of birds to watch. Not overly crowded and with public pay parking available. There are not really any services on this beach which maybe makes it more of a beach for people in the area. Treasure Island, just a minute or two down the road was also nice. Much wider and busier.
