silver lake trail

I copied the following from a hiking website-"The top horsetail at the Falls of Lana snakes down through a gorge into a stunning and deep swimming pool...The lower sections of this waterfall are equally beautiful, but it is much more difficult to get a strong perspective of them. This section of falls consists of horsetails and cascades winding down through a gorge into another tempting pool. Plan to spend some time exploring here and you will find nooks and crannies that many have likely missed during their visits."Such a beautiful hike. There were families as well as groups of adults, but I would say that children should be at least elementary school age for the elevation. At the top is Silver Lake, a lake which is very swimmable and has a lovely trail going all the way around it. This hike was the highlight of our trip to Vermont this summer!
